So heres what I think happened. The journalist has been turned.

They are in communication with each other and have co-ordinated this.

I may have previously been a corpse, but I know for a fact that you have consistently lied about your role. Evil enough for me.

I'm glad to see some activity in the thread, at least. This is a long wait. Nice of Annie and JM to make an appearance too.. lmao.





This being the case... we'll just continue to narrow this down. If Z goes ahead with his hit on JM and Annie is already out of the way, there won't be any new turns for us to worry about. So it's a process of elimination after tonight.



Jpappy, I have my investigations at nightfall too. You know I'm the journalist... and I'm one of 4 possible suspects of those who've already been turned. After Annie and JM are dealt with, it's down to: Me, DD, Ice, and Bugz.

I'll invest either DD, Ice, or Bugz tonight (whichever one you want me to) and post the result when I get it (no more day-long delays waiting for the next headline). Of the three, I don't have a good suspect yet. The only thing I noticed between those 3 names was that little flare-up between Bugz and Ice, which could have been done on purpose if it's them working together.. or nothing at all if they aren't. Aside from that, it doesn't matter to me (yet) which one I investigate first.

You know to consider the results I post suspicious (if I'm possessed) so you're not going to just follow whatever I say without question. Since we're able to do this out in the open, we all get to compare the same information now.

I know my invest results won't carry any weight at first (as they shouldn't), but they'll become more meaningful the next day... etc. I can't go back and change them later so I'll either be helping you locate the turns or incriminating myself. Whichever that is will become apparent taken into account with everything else. Either way it becomes one more piece of information for us to look at later as we continue.

Let me know which one to investigate first. (Happily, I don't have to decide that myself anymore.)

Exactly my point, Jpappy. Just because you showed up again doesn't mean I stop doing what I'm here for. I still get daily investigations whether you (or anyone else) wants to see them. And I'm going to continue submitting them, regardless. That information is highly useful to me even if you're not interested in it.

I could just as easily keep the choices and results to myself from here on out and not tell anyone anything. If you'd rather that, just say so.

The reason I suggested this is, that way, it won't be me choosing who gets investigated or in what order... which could also be counted as suspicious. And I'm committing myself to posting them openly as soon as nightfall is over. If I don't then follow through on this when the time comes, I've just given everyone valid reason to lynch me.

Even if I'm not trusted (obviously) that still forces me to go on record and post something that I can't contradict later. We all know those results can be used against me as evidence I've been turned if I'm not truthful about it. And, rightly so.

I fail to see how this would mislead or confuse anyone at this point when I acknowledge the logic behind my status as a suspect (which I do) and everyone else knows it. On the contrary, I feel anyone who wasn't willing to do this and just stayed quiet about who they investigate, or why, or what the results are would be extremely suspicious.

I'm also not "coming out" or claiming anything at this point because everyone's role has already been established now -- including my own. That wasn't the case before you posted what the roles really are. This is why I couldn't counter Annie's bogus claim - directly - when he first pretended to be the town's "detective." Apparently, Annie didn't realize at the time that's what my role as town journalist equates to. He knew there was a journalist but he didn't know the role held investigative power. Had he thought of that, I expect Annie would've fabricated something else for his false role-claim. lmao.

Even so... while I felt it wasn't safe yet then for me to reveal my role or invest power at the time, I still managed to get real information out to the thread by putting it into my headline... "Annie Lied. Journalist Investigates. Results Include Role-Team. Can't Counterclaim."

I understand that my investigations won't clear me of suspicion even if they're accurate. But at the same time, I also volunteer to incriminate myself if I lie about the results I post.

Once again, if you were the only innocent the game would be over. Your position is indefensible so you are breaking every logic law in existence. There are less Evils than Innocents left or we wouldn't still be playing.

I havent had time to read this but I will in a little while.... from what I did see on my skimming, Kash... you are looking to investigate me, Ice or Luv.... my suggestion would be luv because she would me the most logical choice for a turn, and most advantageous.... will post more later. So yes, it just creates more confusion for the town...which is what the evil would want at this point.

DD: Didnt Luv lose her roles as exorcist also?

I really dont think that the demon would be going after failed exorcists and rather would be fishing for other roles that could be useful (ie the town drunk, journalist, any KGB). Since Kashta was exorcised early and pretty much ignored after that, I am almost positive that she was turned.

Doesn't do us much good until tomorrow though. We need to get rid of the last two tonight, and then focus on the possessed.

ok, here he says anyone trusting a corpse is doomed... thins made me recall the instruction post (yes, this time I actually read it and several times because it seemed so confusing).... the instruction post said this:

pap, yes, she lost her exorcist role but she still has the newspaper role which is clueing everyone in to who next to lynch... so far it had worked.... who not a better choice to turn after being so successful in getting people to follow her.
