Mafia #6.....The Play

Greetings to all...

Just finished reading through all the posts, and the main thing that I noticed is MikenDanielle's really odd gameplay.

1. Got to agree w/ Coler....the guy's pointing fingers everywhere saying that either he 'guarantees' or is '100% sure' that someone is mafia. If he really is a townie, recklessly casting suspicion on everyone else does little good for the town.

2. This business of 'even if I am mafia, keep me in the game until you need to kill a mafia for sure' doesn't make any sense to me AT ALL.

Not voting for the guy yet, but come end of the day if there's no better candidates this guy will get my vote

I tend to try and keep my posting the same, its one of the things we look for in this game obviously. I don't want that to be my tell all to what side I'm playing.You have to look deeper then my post style. Obviously it can't be exactly the same but I try to keep it close.

I am looking deeper, but post styles have proven themselves as at least one point of reference. You were very quick to throw Mike out there and included me in your list after I confronted you. Just as in the last game....

We start here with this.. Now it is just a post that really doesn't set off alarms about him other than he got a PM from DP..

Dwarf Puffers just PM'ed me and asked me when we get our PM's from RBishop?? Didn;t you guys get yours already?? I know I got mine.

Then we get this from you, but I actually disagree I think he was trying to start something otherwise why would he post it. It would be a great mafia ploy to put something like this out there and get someone else lynched simply due to the PM. Now realize there was a lot of other exchange going on about this.. I'm still thinking that both Mike and DP are mafia but DP has fallen really silent which in itself is telling.

Interesting statement Ice. As far as I can see, no one was "picking" on DP. I did question Mike though. Are you reading out of context or tryin to start a train of thought?

I hope I end up on the top of everyone's suspicious list... that way people will throughly analyze me and see for a fact that my stries are all legit and therefore can't possibly be a mafiaso.

Well.. do what you must but if I get the majority of your vote you will again, not take a mafia outt he first night. If i were you, I would keep me around atleast until day 2... or heck even till the end... if you are that sure I am definetly a mafia, why not save me until the end so you have an easy vote to take that 1 last person out. I myself am looking for the non obvious people, the people that are keeping in the shadows and not saying much at all. Theya re the ones who are suspicious to me... them and the ones trying to lynch me of course.

I was waiting for someone to vote. Ice's tells are way to obvious to be purposful. Trying to take a lead of the innocents right off the bat it a tellt ale sing inmho.

How can he be?? Just because ICE was last game? As so poinently pointed out to me last game, quit dwelling on what positions people were last game and concentrate on this. While ICE might be posting strange to you, at this point I don't see it.

I agree this is my first venture in this game so I may not have great logic. But to me... if I knew someone was 100% a mafia, I would save them until a little later when I absolutely needed a mafia out. But then again, I am voting for IceH20 and I am 99.5% positive he is a mafia so I don't know.
Regardless do what you must.

Then he tries to start a train on Ogre and Coler for whom at this time I am feeling that Coler is an innocent.. Ogre I am not convinced one way or the other but this just smacks of the whole deception/attempt to change the direction/create misdirection etc.

Ok... thats two people now who have said they can't post much because of work.... I am honestly starting to think that is the mafias plan, have people make up legitimate alibi's to not be able to post much, therefore limiting the exposure of their words and possible slip ups. I know I may be stupid for posting thsi early and possibly making them cause a stop to it... but if we take a chance and vote one of them out, and they turn out to be mod, I would almost gaurentee the other would too.

I have to agree with this statment. As of this point I can't see why else he would have voted for ICE, unless you are both Mafia.

You only voted me because Hooked did. You needed to plant the suspicion and see if anyone bit. You were 100% sure DP was mafia but voted for me because someone else did.

You started a train but forgot to set the brake, now its running over the top of you.
Again I say to the townies to investigate me, whats one more day? If I'm mafia you got me, if I'm innocent then no reason to vote me unless you are mafia.

Dr. Spock once wrote, "Parenting is about choices and deciding what's best for your child." It also can be reworded to say "Protecting is about choices and whats best for your town".

So does that answer your questions as to why I have voted the way I have???

And Again I reserve the right to change my vote as others post etc.

Read my posts and make up your own mind. I'm not necessarily "building a case" as I am attempting to stop a train. If we have a totally lopsided vote, people will tend to focus a bit too much and not look for the next mafia.... We have 7 to find this game. What were your reasons, your case? As far as I read, you just agreed with Coler and threw the vote in.

Cl2- I tend to agree with you actually. Mike is extremely suspect, DP is also for falling silent so quickly. Ice is because of what I see as trying to guide things and start a "train". I'm not focused on the last game, so I do suspect you as well. For your quick vote and now trying to defend your actions and others. Just as Jo did last game, Mike could have just made a new player mistake. He's near the top of my list, but right now I'm looking at those that are either trying to bolster the claims about him "suddenly" or trying to defend him. This is the first day and much can be learned by beating the bushes. If you have the power, investigate me. If you think I'm mafia, lynch me. Otherwise you'll find out what I am when I am hit.

We need to be gathering info and sharing thoughts, not all agreeing on the "best" suspect.

I didn't throw Mike out there any quicker then anyone else would have if they were there at the time. There are numerous posts after mine pointing out the same.

I didn't list him with you either. When i said 2 its because I thought Charlie was saying DP PMed him also.

Good choice Hooked, get the ones that are more likely to point out mafia players lynched so its not so hard to sneak around and lynch the innocents and cause confusion. I applaud your guys plans.

I didn't think I was that much of a threat, there are others I thought better then me at this game, but I think the fact that I had guys that thought me mafia last game get all turned around and thinking I was innocent made you think I am just that **** good.

Lynch me and you get what you want, 1 less innocent to lead the others innocents to victory.

You just seemed to be as quick with the attack as you proclaim I was.

Difference is I would rather lynch Mike who we know nothing about and be wrong then lynch you be wrong and lose a big help to the town.

As per the post that said I waited for someone else to vote for Ice, I didn't wait for someone else to vote necesarily for Ice, I waited for someone else to post, being a newbie I was a little insecure about when the voting was meant to begin and didn't want to end up looking like I didn't know what I was doing. I will agree I have thrown a few curveballs out, these have been strategicly done to monitor peoples reactions to them which can be very telling. I am quite to have found out I can change my vote if I choose to do so, this could come inq uite handy, albeit at this point I am still firmly setting my vote on Ice.

If this is the case then I strongly suggest you go back and at least skim the last two games this was even suggested in the sign up thread I do believe.

Not quite sure what to make of this... I am not under the assumption that Mike (or anyone else) is innocent. To have the entire town set on him this early only helps the mafia though.

I think the key (to at least what has raised my suspicions) is your statement "There are numerous posts after mine pointing out the same.".

You are offering the folks the lessor if 2 evils, "vote for Mike cause if I'm innocent I can help more". I'm just trying to present the flipside...

Like I've said, feel free to point fingers my way. Investigate me, hit me, lynch me. It will all prove the same thing.
