Mafia #6.....The Play

Posting is good for the town. Generally anybody who says something about not reading the posts, wanting less posts, or the opposite of posting will get called out...I know, I did it last game...and I was an innocent...

Home for a quick lunch, scanning the thread and caught this.. While my vote is probably going to stay where it is, I think that is his point and has been his tactic all along. I think Coler was trying to tell us that Mike was the snitch. I only wish his ghost wasn't haunting a thread and could tell us out right.

The only way we as townies are going to get any information tonight is with a lynching. And at this point I wouldn't even care if it was me. (I know I'm going to regret that statement, but at this point I don't care). That is the only way we can make any sense out of any of the postings (even if we can at this point). We need something substantive to play from and can't get it with all the garbage that is going on right now. (can you tell I'm frustrated??? I haven't even roll played for christ sake).. The mafia have us running in 50 million directions and we don't know which way to turn. If we can get a successful lynch tonight it will be a great step in the process to figuring out who is on what side. (or at least that is my hope).

The mafia could only hit the Don through lynchings. They can't directly hit the Don because while the Don is alive he sends the PMs to Bish (or at least that is the way I read the rules). If the Don is lynched the individual mafia have to PM Bish and he will decide any tie breakers..

Correct me if I'm wrong Bob..
 
The mafia could kill the don through a hit if the don agreed to it...although I can't for the life of me think of a reason why they would do that.

remember guys, even if he's the snitch 1) he's still mafia and 2) he names 4 players only one of whom is mafia. Please try to read an consider all posts before going somewhere...

post post post... that's all the innocents have. the mafia already know.

I agree with you and Z, plantling, we seem to have two completely different groups with two completlely different mafia lists. One group has myself and mad, while the other group seems to lead with Ice.

I think we'll know tonight who is what

I think the teams have been instructed to openly attack one another. This would explain why everyone's lists are so flip-flopped. We need to remember there are 7 mafia, and we can only vote one a night. Even though I might have my vote parked on someone, I still like to call out mafia behavior as I see it in other candidates. With so many Mafia, they can afford to squabble but in the end, they will throw their votes on an innocent on the chopping block. This way they control the lynchings and the nighttime hits, outing two innocents each night. Others to look out for are the late vote switchers and those who don't even vote. No voting means no liability on their part. Does anyone have any similar thoughts? I completely agree

I'm thinking we townies need to share as many of our suspicions and thoughts as possible, even silly thoughts or the Mafia will own this town. I agree that we should share as much info as possible. With regard to silly ideas, though, I think we need to be careful not to muddy the water too much. I'd really hate for folks to get too hung up on wild goose chases. But, maybe there's no such thing as a silly idea in this game

Actually, the rules state that the snitch must send 4 names, at least one of which is mafia. So, it could be one, could be all 4, depending on what the snitch feels like doing I guess. In any case, once that happens, it will give us a pretty narrow field to focus on, for at least one voting day anyway. Although, if the town lynches the snitch before RB asks for the names, then we lose the opportunity.

The post was hypothetical. I was looking for responses and a lynch train to form on me to save Mad or Mike. I figured whoever jumped would be mafia.

On a better note I don't think the Dr will protect Mike. I think he wanted to see what came of another day of Mike. I still thinks he thinks the mafia wouldn't chance hitting Coler after last game. He took a chance that backfired IMO.

I named 10 people the last 3 in the last post are also in the 2nd post and just need watching, I'm not as sure about them.

My understanding is that he is innocent but can mistakenly take out an innocent. The Vig would never purposely remove an innocent or he loses.

I want to revise my list some and explain my reasoning for those I think are mafia.



I only strongly suspect Mad, Ogre and HN.

HN usually has a better list and breakdown. I think the meetings take up to much time except for a quick list to calm the townies.

Mad and Ogre I've already pointed out numerous times.

I'm not sure about the rest of my earlier list as I think about it. There really isn't much to go on.Just worth watching.

Sploke is most definitely innocent imo

Sway I'm pretty sure is innocent

Zman I'd like to think is innocent

Jl I believe innocent

DP wants out but when told to PM Rb votes Mike and then says he isn't going to bother reading posts. So I guess DP is just going to ride the trains? Unless he PMs RB and dies tonight I'm going with mafia.
