Mafia 61: The Gunslinger - Game Thread

Thanks Razz...it's really convincing for someone with the amount of posts you have had to be calling people out for not saying anything. Problem is, most of the people you have listed at least appear to be helping the town. More than you've done, seeing as you had to be asked to give a list and then to give reasons...

Given that this is a new setup for everyone, and every innocent could potentially become the gunslinger, I dont see why talking about any of that is at all suspicious. Yes, its Ice's decision but as an innocent is it not my obligation to try and help him reach that decision? Or is everyone supposed to just sit back and watch, Razz?

Your vague comments about people talking but not saying anything is really weak. I'd like to see some specific posts where you think this is happening, personally.

Kash- She was first out last game for a reason. Ice was the grinch who killed her. Now he is the first up to shoot and has a good chance of leaving tonight. This leads me to belive that the whole Ice=Gunslinger this is just an OMGUS thing made up by Kash. (Top of my list)

That made me chuckle, Razzle. And you're partially right. Had this been a regular town vs. mafia format game and I was on the mafia team... Ice might have been my first pick for a hit... just to get back at him for being such a grinch and taking me out of that christmas game. LOL... He didn't even wait long enough to investigate me first.

Having said that, this isn't the same thing with this format and I'm not on the mafia side. There will come a time though, soon, in one game or another when I'll have my revenge... and when that time comes, I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.

As a theory, your idea is interesting though. And if that's the best guess you have to go on in this game to find a suspect, be my guest. Others who know me better know I used to go with Ice as a Day 1 target when I was still new at this and he still intimidated me. Now.. it's not the same anymore. I've learned enough to keep my perceived "adversaries" in the game a little longer than I used to because I believe I can hold my own well enough against them. At least sometimes I can.

I think everyone is just as clueless, minus the hidden mafia, so I dont understand whats so hard about putting something together. Its not the end of the world...

I'll be totally honest here, I don't think Kash is Mafia. I think any self respecting Mafia would spit out names when questioned. Kash is really really into her notes and post digging. She even did it when I was on an evil team with her, so I think she is genuinely confused right now.

I will admit this format is testing my reading comprehension skills...

If Kash was Mafia I think she would have given names when I called her out. I know this post is going to be read as defending her but it's my honest opinion.

Jpap- I don't know if I'm reading into this too much but with the whole random issue. You posted a lot but why wouldn't you just pm Mad and ask? Since it's only day one, I don't have a lot to go on but I have at least somthing with you that I don't have with the others.

I'm actually surprised to read this Kash. I wouldn't have suspected you to hold a grudge from one game to the next. Your admission that you would hold a grudge over a game where Ice took you out early is very strange to me. To me every game is independant of one another and shouldn't influence decisions in any way.

I have to agree with Z. For someone who didn't have much you said a whole lot.
The bolded paragraph I'd like some clearing up. It seems you are saying you'd lean Z and Jpap. Lean them what? At first it appears innocent but then you say it could be contrived so could be mafia.



Right now I'm leaning towards Kash as my shot. 1st off for someone who has no suspects she has done a lot of finger pointing while being very non committal about any of it.
But what really leans me this way is her insistence to hit lesser players to get them out of the game early or in better terms save our best for last. Look at her list again. All the players she thinks I should target she has leaning innocent( italics). Why would I target innocent?
The 3rd reasoning is the claim she'd be lost as Slinger and not know who to hit. I think she thinks I'd not risk hitting her if she is as clueless as she claims.


The rest of the team I'm not as sure about but I'm leaning the team to be

Jpap
JB
Z

They played off one another to much and to conveniently. I don't like the suspect lists at all except the fact they just about named the same players and even added one another as suspects.

I could be wrong and Annie could be on the team. At that point I'd probably drop Z off the team.

If Kash is mafia then I'd probably hit Jpap or JB next. I think they hold the key for me on who else could be on the team.

I've told you this before, Ice... one of these days we're going to have to figure out how NOT to keep suspecting each other all the time. We're not always on opposite sides. I have the same problem in these games with JohnLarson and almost always distrust him when sometimes I shouldn't.

Well the first game you and Ice don't suspect each other the Town will have to take you both out since you'll probably be on the same team

You do make a good point. A mafia could easily throw a list out there with some gut feels or agreeing with another players thoughts. Problem is, as you said Kash is really good at digging and keeping track of things. Its not something I see her doing. A list would have been nice just to go along with the rest of the town.

What are you talking about? I believe I mentioned that ONCE, in response to Dawg who was mainly discussing with Kash (I think) about picking roles. I didnt read into that situation at all and just gave my quick thought on it. Its almost a non issue.

If you think that was all I've been posting about then you seriously need to reread.
