You should rethink your theory on that, Dawg. Mad told us in the first post that all roles were random. I don't believe for a moment that he would lie to us about this.

If the roles were hand picked, Mad wouldn't have said anything at all.

Well I saw that but don't totally believe it. I always think some sort of influence is made by the mod. I have in the past separated out vets from newer players into 2 separate groups and randomly chosen from each. So it would be a random selection for teams but not experience levels so that teams would be more evenly weighted.

I'd never take into consideration that roles are random no matter how big and bolded a line states they are.

Ice, I'm hoping that when you take your shot you will also spell out your thoughts on the group so that if you do hit an innocent we don't lose your input. These lists should prove helpful in the future. I can understand why you aren't giving opinions now in order to not sway reactions from possible mafia targets.

JB-Seems awful sure someone who was mafia last game is mafia again and he had many fooled last time. seems to be playing a similar style game as he did with Ice last game, except with Jpappy this time
Jpap-Seems to be distancing himself from JB, yet they seem to be saying the same thing

RazzleFish-Also noticed Razz was logged onto the thread for a very long time yesterday without saying anything. The claim of not knowing the game started is very weak.

Right now I am a bit confused with it all. I got my suspects, but not quite sure. Razz bothers me that he has been on the thread and "forgot" it started, but what would be the point in shooting him? If he was a innocent, then we have a mute gunslinger. So I would not go that way. I feel the same way about agaissizii.

Labby seems a bit finger pointy right now, and which is usually a sign of mafia.

I would look at the people distancing themselves from each other, like jb and jpap which would be a good way to throw your hit if I was you. If you hit one of them and there innocent, I would be faithful they can handle being gunslinger, and if they are mafia then we lost one of the top dawgs of the group.

Like I said, my esp is still searching, and I am on the fence.

Kash you said you couldn't give Ice four names without flipping coins but then you did a great job of running through six or so players that you were thinking about. The second half of this post was exactly what Ice wanted to see, my question is why did you preface it with the statement that you couldn't pick? He just wants our thoughts to add to his own, you've done that but at the same time you devalued your list with that opening comment. I don't think any of us are very certain at this point, but there's a long seperation between coin flipping (probablitiy) and hunches.

I don't have any actual suspects, Z. All I could do was look at the player list and jot down some really vague comments. And the reason I prefaced that the way I did was just what you said - to devalue the list. I also have learned that I can't ever trust my hunches... I'm not a gut-instinct type of player. Usually after the second night in these games, I start to pick up on clues. But that mostly comes from comparing voting patterns to what people have posted... then it sometimes becomes obvious that someone is saying one thing and doing the exact opposite. But again, that's a more analytical approach.

Anyway.. I'm still at a loss with this, Ice. If I had to shoot someone today, I have no idea who my target would be.

Okay Dawg.. thanks. I guess I just take the game mod at his word. If he was going to fiddle around with the assignments even after placing them randomly... I don't believe he would mislead us deliberately. It would make more sense just to say nothing about it at all and let the players speculate all they want.

Well the only one who truly knows is Mad. What I was pointing out is that there are ways to be random and still make the teams evenly matched. For all I know Mad's teams are 100% random and Lab, TRS, Razz & Agass are all on the same team...but I highly doubt it. JMHO.

You are being a little paranoid Jpap. The more later was a reference to the fact that I wouldn't be able to get on the computer for much of the day. I guess I was accenting the "later" part as opposed to the "more" part. At this point I've got nothing more than suspicions.

Ok, I thought the way you worded it that you had more on Lab that you were holding out on.

Kash- If you are not mafium, then I conclude you are the biggest threat to them. If you are mafium, you're the biggest threat to us. While the reasoning is weak, I have both you and Jpap leaning scum because you weren't selected as the first Gunslinger. I believe you weren't selected because one or both of you was the person choosing the Gunslinger. Again I will admit this is more of a gut feeling than anything else. If I were to take a shot now, I would shoot you or Jpap at this point. If I was wrong, at least I've given the gun to a more experienced player

Red Part- looks like a lot of double talk.

Blue part- correct. I am stating that if I were choosing a Gunslinger, and you were innocent, I would have chosen you first and forced you to make your desicion with as little information as possible. But somehow I don't think that is the case my spaghetti slurping friend.

Annie, this is scummy. You want me and Kash, who you consider to be the biggest threats, out of the town without considering what may happen if we're innocent. Oh, so you would feel fine if we were given the gun? I dont think so. You said it yourself, as mafia you would want us to be given the role early when we have little to go on. Thats completely contradictory. Since you have no real proof suggesting that me and Kash are mafia you come to the weak reasoning that since we weren't chosen that we were the ones choosing. That could be turned on ANY PLAYER other than Ice. I remember a few games back some people were trying to argue that since Ice wasn't hit night one that he was mafia...please...

I agree with this. Maybe in the post where you "vote" for your hit you could explain your reasoning. Otherwise we would be lost as to why you chose that...if they're mafia it could lead somewhere else, and if innocent maybe clear some things up.

I see what you're saying, and I've done it the same way in the past (grouping players then using a generator) but I don't think Mad would post anything if it was not completely random. JMO.
