Mafia 61: The Gunslinger - Game Thread

Razz - Still not buying Razz's excuses for not posting earlier. Posting lists without comments and seem to just be skating by.

Zaff - Replaces JB in my list since I think his last second case on Annie clears him. Zaffy hasn't been playing like normal, in fact I forget they are around. I know this is because of the RL trouble (I am very sorry BTW Zaffy). I think they would have probably withdrawn if they didn't have a special role. That's a horrible reason to suspect someone but its a thought.

Lab, Red, Agas - No idea they haven't added much to the game, I bet at least one is Mafia. I'd like to hear more from all of them but I think they are to sketch for you to target right now Ice.

If I were Sherriff I would probably shoot Zaffy or Razz.

You were one of the first people on my list for Day 1. No desperation here, just explaining things. Ice will be a much better Sherriff than me, I want him to make the right choice.

Kash thanks for answering my questions, that makes me feel better about your list now. Still I would think you could name a few people you suspect by this point, pretty much everyone else has. You don't have to vote, and chances are Ice isn't going to go straight off your list so there's little pressure on you. In fact almost all the pressure rests solely on the Sherriff this game.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but how is this a "nerve wrenching Night 1" if you are anyone but Ice or a mafia goon???

Admittedly, Ice had all the pressure on him, you even say so yourself. I can see how it would be nerve wracking if you are mafia...if you're an innocent vanilla townie then worst that happens to you is you become gunslinger (though it does suck the town would lose Ice). Oh yeah, that's right...you admitted to being strawberry cheesecake flavored, not vanilla. That still sticks out as odd to me.

Based on the fact that Annie showed mafia, the banter you two had going back and forth, and some of the off posts you have made, I'm thinking you're mafia scum.

My revised list is
Zsand-for reasons stated above
Jbradt-on the fence about him, his post about Annie right before Annie got shot seems to clear him, though for the reasons Kash said could have been a brilliant distancing mafia move
Jpap-still seems he and Jbradt are agreeing a lot while pseudodistancing

I still think Razz is a bit scummy with the whole not posting/claiming not to know the game had started. Maybe he's mafia instead of Jpap. Kash just doesn't have a mafia vibe about her, at least not that I can pickup on. Same with Dawg. Leaning towards Zaffy being vanilla. Neither Agassizii nor TRS have posted much (had TRS on my previous list simply because he hadn't contributed) but what they've posted hasn't set off warning bells in my head.

That's just this vanilla townies $0.02, thoughts are subject to change as more people weigh in.

As I figured, Ice was setting one of his traps by running the case on Kash. Therefore, you were not being named as a likely shot, nor was Annie. So the fact you made a detailed case against Annie minutes before Ice shot means you had no reason to distance yourself and you genuinely thought Annie was Mafia. This clears you IMO.

Because I want my team to win... !?!? It's a game and I get into them, there's no pressure on me in this format except in helping the Townies win by aiding the Sherriff.

The Rat digging out of its burrow and takes top spot in my list of "Almost Playing Players".

All this dust-up over me goes to show what I mean about the loudest players always get targeted first. We play the game and therefore make targets of ourselves while the others skate.

I'm done defending myself for now unless ICe has direct questions of me.

Let's look at some other suspects.

Okay, Z... what are you thinking about Kash and Jpap. I have vague suspicions of both, but nothing that really stands out. Any thoughts?

Not entirely true. What if Kash is right and since Jb thought Kash was the target he was setting himself up for the next night since Annie was her only suspect.
