Mafia 62- The Play

Wow... sorry for that last one. I didn't realize it got that long. Regarding the aforementioned theory: the more I think about it, the more it seems obvious. If there are 3 mafia left, Zaffy's recent attack of Razz and Mich could be distancing.

It seems obvious that Razz will get the noose tonight. I can't imagine there would be much movement since Razz really can't be saved unless someone switches OFF of him. Everyone on him has already pretty much said we're not moving.

Losing one vote means we can make it a tie between Zaffy and Mich tomorrow. If the one that comes up is innocent, we know it's the other. If they come up mafia and that doesn't end the game, we know it's the other. Either way we should have it in the bag.

Is there anything I'm missing?

JB, your post is exactly what I'm thinking. I know I posted earlier that I didn't think Zaffy and Mich would be on the same team since they both could have jumped simultaneously to try to save Noods, but the more I thought about it the more I realize that would have been stupid. They may have been able to save her but almost the entire team would have been exposed. So I'm back to the possibility of 3 mafia.

I was then wondering why, if there are 3 of them, that two would vote for Zaffy when he's obviously the strongest player among them. Then it made sense. Razz is obvious mafia. We've been calling him on it for a while, and he's done nothing since to make me think he's innocent. Michwol is trying to play the noob card. He voted for Zaffy, but I bet he would have jumped last minute to Razz if JB voted Zaffy or will if someone changes their vote to Zaffy. This way, we vote Mich next and their strongest remaining player is clear.

Just to be clear Zaffy, Razz shows mafia, Mich shows mafia, and the game isn't over yet, I'm voting for you. You've been too inconsistent.

I can change my vote to Razz to secure the lynch

Will you be around for nightfall? If so, I think it's best to wait and see if anyone jumps anywhere. I can't imagine someone would jump off Razz at this point, I really don't suspect anyone who is voting Razz, except Zaffy. Zaffy is not going to jump off Razz because then he runs the risk of getting lynched in a tie.

Thats only is the Doctor chooses the right person to save. Otherwise we could be down two tonight and still keep an odd number. If we want a specific run-off vote we could always have a 99.99% innocent (Ice or DD) vote a random person to keep the tie.

hahaha you guys are cr4azy.... sorry, if I had any idea how little I would be to post to the game, I surely wouldnt have signed up.... but it's a good tghiung I did. I've done something quite well in my medicated state. I guess my reading and cognitive skills have been prety on the level.

Tis I, I felt that JL swtarted avting a little weird and he wasn't quite as crafty as he can be. At the very last minute, 7:56pm, I decided to go for it and take him out. It was the proudest moment of my life in this game of Mafia.... I nailed his neck right to the wall.

I might have skimmed here but is Mich trying to claim Vig or is he just explaining his votes?

Well there is no doubt Zaff is having an off game but I think its due to being a Mafia scumbag.

Maybe I'm slow here, but what is the benefit of a tie? The only one I can see is it gives mafia the chance to jump last minute to lynch an innocent. Jump would be obvious though and the jumper would get taken out next lynch.

I really wish Annie had said how many mafia there were for sure.

That is usually the purpose of a tie, to see if mafia jump.

It's not a fool proof plan as the mafia could just play it cool and hope the coin flip goes their way. Or they could move to lynch another mafia member to save themselves.

It's open for discussion and it might just be in the town's best interest to lynch the top suspects in whatever order we come up with, just to get it over with. Last game we lost in part because certain people had convictions about players who the majority of the town thought were innocent.

Ha, I agree.

I like ties, you may be risking a Townie, but as long as we are in the majority the risk is worth the reward of making Mafia squirm. Its proven itself to be an effective strategy this round.
