No, but a great way to get lynched is for a Townie to overly defend themselves. If you need to lynch me to prove my role, then I expect you to do it. We have the numbers to lose one or two and still pull this off. What I don't want to happen is what happened last round.

Zaffy, you voted Zs the previous two nights. Why did DD, Mich, and JB suddenly jump in front of Zs for suspicions?


:hypnotized: Skimmed the entire thread. Zs has flown WAY under the radar, the only one who has even kicked around the bushes at him was Zaffy. JL didn't lay into him at all, while he laid into many of the rest of us. JL also didn't lay into Noods (though he did kick around a little bit at her). He didn't at Razz either.

Zs has made enough neutral, pro-town seeming posts that I don't think he registered as scummy to anyone (except Zaffy). The problem is, the posts he's made don't have a whole ton of content. Fluffy without being too fluffy. Kind of hollowish. Very neutral, not causing any waves. I'd quote them, then I'd unquote them because I couldn't find scummy things with them. But not a whole lot of content. I also find his rapid skimming tonight after the lynch and his lack of defending himself very odd.

... I think I'm done playing Mafia for a while after this round. I obviously have a different style than others as of late and these comments irritate me to no end when other players like, no offense here, DD, hardly post at all. (You did take a great shot though DD)

And I didn't skim, I did speed read because I was ready for bed though.

There are no hard feelings I'm sure, this gets thrown around at everyone at some point. It's how Ice rooted me out last game, I've been accused of it prior to that as well. Don't let it get you down.
 
I never take anything in here personal, it just make sit less fun. I enjoy my fluff as much as the game. That's why I've become known for my random questions and odd bush-kicking technique. That is as valuable to me as the long quote-a-thons some folks like to make. I think I just need a breather, I may host a game in the interim.

I didn't mean to offend you. And if DD hadn't come out as vig I would suspect her over you due to lack of helping the town. But seeing as no one challenged her role claim, she is innocent in my book. Like I said, if you're mafia, your play has been brilliant.

I like some fluff too. I also like the quote-a-thons because I feel it lays things out in one place. Also, if I need reference for what was said around a quote it's very easy to find to keep it in context. Have you given us a random question yet?

I still suspect Zaffy and Z over anyone else. I think we should go into nightfall with a tie, unless DD has another excellent shot. DD, like I said earlier, I won't be offended if you vote for me so we get a tie.

King of the Deep

He used to play a long, long time ago and was famous for quitting, lynching himself, etc. when he was under the spotlight. It first was used as a way to get people to move votes but after a while it just got old and people suspected him more and more for it. A lot of the times he was innocent but it did nothing but put the town back a day.

What I mean with this is I hope Z isn't trying to get people to jump off of him by saying that he wont play because of what people think of his style. I really want to believe you Z and I've been in the position where I just need to take a break because of people getting to me...but the game's still going and I don't want to see you slip away if you are mafia. We've seen some pretty desperate stunts pulled by the mafia when they're on thin ice and I would not put it past anyone who has played this game as much as you to try and do something like this as a last ditch effort...especially if you're the only one left.

For what it's worth, I still have Zaffy over Zs as a suspect too. But for the sake of keeping it a tie (until DD shows up) I'm keeping my vote where it is.
