Mafia 65: Masons and Mafia (Game Thread)

Communication for both masons and mafia will be limited. Teams will be allowed to communicate in the respective threads provided during the pregame period, and for the first 24 hours of each game day WITH THE EXCLUSION OF DAY 1 (ie, there will be NO outside communication during Day 1).

Dawg, there's no communication going on right now. So unless JL and FF planned this whole thing out during the pregame (unlikely) then what you're saying doesn't make sense.

That's not what you said check the quotes. 1 vote does not make a train IMO. I don't see anyone jumping on just yet so I'm wondering where the train thing came from. I was also wondering if you were planning to jump on. Apparently not since JPap is innocent...right??

You assumed he was innocent on day 1 with only a couple of posts???? Please explain why JPap is innocent in your eyes with only the few posts he made prior to your comments...Thanks.

I don't think day 1 will come down to a 8 to 7 vote.

At 72 hours whoever has the most votes will be the one to die.

I have read some games on mafiascum, never played this one though. Usually on Day 1 they do a random lynch where everyone throws out a quick vote and then things slowly shift to one person. I'm not sure we will do that because we don't play the same way and because even at 72 hours our days are much shorter than theirs. That said with 5 Masons and 5 Townies, it does benefit us to try and reach consensus.

My fear with this setup is that if we get a Mafia up for lynch they will start throwing out Kill votes instead of being led to the gallows.

How do you know this is a train JL has started? Do you plan to jump on?



Can you quote the post where JL says the mafia won't try to start a train on someone they know is innocent?? I don't see it posted before your post that claims he said that.



Why are you clarifying that WE don't know if JPap is innocent? Where did you claim JPap was innocent before? And now you clarify what JL said but how could you ever interpret what JL said in his posts as "the mafia won't try to start a train on someone they know is innocent"



Did someone tell you, you screwed up or did you figure that out on your own?

Dawg, you're kicking awfully hard at FF and I can't really see why. From what I can tell, FF is being his typical, spastic self. He posts before he really thinks it through, then he has to repost to clarify, then he changes his mind, etc. But from what he's posted, nothing has struck me as exceptionally scummy. In fact, in his own little way, I think he's trying to help the town. His posts are more like last game, when he was innocent, rather than just throwing a bunch of stuff out there to purposely confuse, like he did the game before when he was mafia. You kicking so hard at him for his typical play (especially since it's how he played the last game as innocent) is sending up scum alerts in my head.

I'm also confused when you ask him if he's communicating outside...as I understand it, neither mafia nor masons can talk for day 1. So who would he be talking to/planning with?

For now, unless something better comes along...
