My voting strategy for Day 1 has always been to look for somw kind of flaw in logic. I've been mostly successful although the person I usually vote for is rarely the one the rest of the town wants to agree on. I just don't like the "Day 1 is random" line of thought. Also, early is better in my mind as it leaves more time for discussion. That said I'll toss out an early suggestion in hopes of increasing discussion. Last night when I was posting lists of who had yet to post I noticed people appeared in clusters. jpappy, joander, Mad, and sploke were one. Plantling, DC, Lady, and Sway were the other. Of course I have no expectations that these folks are all Mafia, it was just an observation.

joander posted waaay before me, mad, or sploke

and lady didn't post until very early this morning along with sway who posted an hour after her...

interesting observation but way too early to go on any of this...
 
Chicken has had a horrible morning so far. First, she overslept. Then the car started to make a noise on the drive over to the ice cream shop. Finally, when she got there, the front window had been broken! She hurriedly unlocked the door and went inside, trying to find out what had happened. As she calls the police to report the damage, she spies a large rock underneath one of the tables. Thankfully it didn't hit any of the ice cream coolers, but there is glass everywhere. After finishing up with the police and calling a glazier, she starts cleaning up. "Hope nobody wants ice cream for lunch today" she thinks.
 
I'm not seeing anything that really jumps out at me screaming mafia yet. I don't even have any hunches or anything =( Where is DP when ya need him!!??

Unless something happens to change my mind I'll probably vote for Hooked Newbie because he picked on Doogie and I think Doogie is cute :P

We still have over 24 hours to read posts and try to come up with something so I'm not going to submit an actual vote yet.

Valid points. I didn't look at timestamps only order and frequency.
 
Dang, this game is going slow. I am seriously considering voting for someone using a random number generator. Maybe someone will see a vote for them without reading my explanantion, tweak, become defesive, and then slip up or something...dumb idea but it's all I got...I could be this games joander
 
lol where is charlie? I expected at least 40 or 50 posts from him by now.

sort of, but a little different. the theif can stop a hit or lynch from going through, not kill anyone. like a backwards vig.
