Mafia #7 -- The Play

The speed with which this train on Swayde got going makes me really uneasy. If the mafia know she is innocent (or at least not on their own mafia team), they're going to be quick to jump on early. If she's an innocent, then thats 10 people rather than just 5 that will be willing to go along with it. With this many mafia I think we're going to have to be very wary of the trains getting started like this. Also, Ice so pointedly making it clear that, "hey, when we lynch an innocent, it wasn't my fault"...why making it that clear, you know something we don't?

Z's post from yesterday is still nagging at me, so just as an attempt to stir up some trouble

sploke your decision to gun for me is not all that unsuspected based on how hard I went after you last game. You won't get any trouble here though as I think there are much better suspects out there than myself or even yourself. Tonight's lynch results are going to greatly affect how my list sorts as right now I have many 5's. (5 being nuetral for those that don't know)

Ok, I thought it out....while I'm not 100% certain Swayde is mafia I have already expressed serious concerns about chicken (the person, not the food)....I feel more comfortable voting for someone who I feel is mafia rather than someone who I've been convinced MIGHT be mafia...I may end up out on my own with this vote, but I'm ok with that...

I unvote Swayde and recast my vote for watachicken.

These two votes strike me odd. First DC votes for someone few have even mentioned after voting for Sway previously. Then KOTD retracts? Are there enough people on the train now or something fellows?

The second thing is that I placed so huge concerns about watachicken out there and her only response was the the computer was acting up but then it was time to watch a movie. No strong defense, no suspect list to say "I know I was unable to help, but here's my contribution to the town now that I'm back."

I posted a suspected innocent/suspected mafia list less than half an hour after my post explaining why i hadn't been on. I think johnlarson is worth looking into, but nobody commented on me saying that, except JL himself. i think it's worth looking into.

Swayde is sad that she never really got to know anyone in her new town. She tried to be a good neighbor and tried to run an honest business. I guess in a town overrun with criminals there is no room for her. She will miss her goldfish most of all, and Mee-Mee's delicious eclairs.

My vote shall remain on IceH20. He's my top suspect. I was really hoping to get to play more than this, but oh well. Must be fate telling me to stay off my computer Good luck townies. I'll be following along in my free time and cheering you guys on in spirit. Please, avenge my death, don't make my die in vain.

Hmmm...King posts before he finishes reading the whole thread, and also puts a vote in...must have not gotten to the point where jo was called out for doing pretty much the same thing. Doesn't seem like something King would do. An innocent would make sure to read every post before voting, and for someone as experienced in this game as KOTD, this doens't add up for me.

i will be at a yankee game tommorow at 12pm-4pm, after that i will be shopping around the city for a few birds, after that i may have a chance to get online..but i wanted to get my vote in just incase i miss tommorow

The only thing I ever noticed about Sway's posting was her saying she bought a convenience store (50), and then saying she apparently inherited a convenience store (88),,,that is the only thing I saw a little peculiar about her postings...

and when someone is accused of being Mafia and they know they aren't, they tend to very defensive, I know when I was Mafia in game 4 and the game prior to this, I really didn't defend myself very well.. and maybe her multilple posts was just ranting...

My vote still stays on Jo, for the reasons I had posted earlier.....

MeeMee stops by Sway's house to see how she is holding up, and Sway looks scared for some reason, MeeMee brings her some of her eclairs and it seems to put a smile back on Sway's face....Don't worry Sway, meemee says, Me and Chi will look after your goldfish, if you have to leave town so suddenly...

I am thinking of changing my vote to Ice because of all the hooplah on the whole train on sway issue. There was the one post in regards to defending himself before anyone thought that maybe Sway is in fact innocent. Then, persists on explaining his reasons for not wanting a train to ensue.

I'm going out on a limb, I realize it's close to time but I am switching my vote. I just don't feel as strongly for Sway as I do for Ice. I unvote Sway and vote to lynch Ice
