Uhhhhh I wait two days to find out who the mystery player is, and not only do i find out it's someone named "mystery player", but above is what they post. 2 posts. Role playing, then a thank you to plantling's warm welcome. Yeah ok. As if we don't have enough to do finding mafia, i gotta play guessing games with a player who after two days adds only that they have entered our turbulent town by way of the beach. I look forward to reading what you have observed. Wanna know what i've observed??? The mafia are down three players and we have only lost one. This leads me to think your mafium, just so you know. If it were Ogre, I'm pretty sure that he'd have thrown a vote my way already (given our past history )

I'm thinking Coler...in the Werewolf signup thread he says that he'd be travelling thru August 31....that might explain the late start.

whoever it is all this "cloak and dagger" seems a little over the top. that combined with the fact they swill show up as innocent any investigation makes them dangerous IMHO. you wanna bet RB made him old school to shore up that team??? either way i have to say posting nothing last night is not helping the town any. too busy hooking up with his/her new team methinks. maybe mystery player sees their name in bold a few times they might be inclined to add more than that they observed dead fish on the beach.

Very good points about HN, Mad. I was wary of Z's "clusters", too but I'd forgotten that HN was pushing them, too.

My Mafia list in no particular order:

Sploke-As Chaz pointed out, he could very well be new Mafia, so this explains why Z might have been on him so hard and why Z may have gotten hit. Also he was very against everyone believing in KOTD as the detective for reasons that I thought didn't make any sense.

HN-for his support of Z's "clusters" or "groupings" and they also both did their best to discredit KOTD, although HN did it more before KOTD claimed he was detective and Z more afterwards.

JPappy-he may be my weakest case, but could be new Mafia. He voted for KOTD and said he was 100% sure. Also he picked on DD for being too eager to vote for Ice and then for taking too long to place her vote on Ice.

Some of the quotes may be slightly out of order, as it was kind of a bear to dig thru the thread and find them...With that said, though, I'm kinda liking Hooked Newbie as Old School mafia.

Wow Mad... that is a great case, off-target and wrong, but very logical. I did use the word "cluster" and was looking at who voted together. I was frustrated that no discussion was going on. On those points you are absolutely correct. I've been voting for someone I think is mafia from the start and was against the Swayde vote, but no one has been willing to look or listen.

This is Post 115. At this point, Swayde has two votes. Ice and Charlie.

Also about this point, a few post before. ZS is starting to make a case against Joander. Joander had just questioned on why Ice was voting Swayde.

How did HN know of the overwhelming train that Ice was starting?

I didn't know an "overwhelming" train was forming, but it was VERY early into day 1 and the town has been doing that in the last few games and guess what? We did it again and lynched an innocent. I wanted to have votes spread out early so people wouldn't just park their vote less than 24 hrs in and stop looking for others. Please look at my other posts in addition to this one.

Pappy was all over me for the whole ice thing but when I turned and explained all my reasonings to pappy and it was coming down to the wire, he slithers off. He completely withdraws himself, apologizing. He contributes it to being paranoid maybe.

Sploke is always wirey, always a weird vibe from him. I believe it is true, he may be on the opposite side of Z and after the sparring, had his people take Z out. And like stated, he was not in belief of King.

this whole thing about clusters is presented before us and it looks darn incriminating.

I have to say also, Mystery is also a good candidate for Mafia. Thinking logically, rb just may have put him on the weakest team for the time being only to get the numbers back. We have hit the 1 side of mafia to a serious level.... the most logical place to put him (or her) would be there.

good question...i dunno how this power can be used...if you kidnap the new school don they cannot investigate is one way it could be helpful, but on the same hand if that person were the doctor you would leave king unprotected. its something that should be discussed in depth

I agree that as of right now Swayde is suspect, but I'm concerned about an overwhelming train forming that would negate any more info. At this point I'm a bit curious about jpappy and Jo. Jpappy for nothing more than a feeling (and, no I'm not pulling a CL) his posts just seem to be in odd "clusters". Jo, because to be caught up and miss the reason for Ice's vote seems very odd. That has been the focus of most of the actual non-chit chat converation. To keep discussions going....

I vote to lynch Joander.

If the mystery player does not add more to the game than what they have then I see no reason not to lynch them.

I really thought we would see something out of them.
