While doubled over in agony last night, I spent some thinking about whether it is beneficial to figure out which game the current day is modeled after...I was all for trying to figure out the game play yesterday and it makes it fun to try to guess but in all honesty does it really matter? unless someone really slips up and gives a huge clue, nightfall is probably the only time these abilities will be apparent. so it really just boils down to rooting out scum, regardless of their abilities.....just my 5 cents....

Wrong answer, dude. The game started a day-and-a-half ago. You were questioned about this yesterday. It would have been the day before yesterday that you made the decision to become invisible.

Are you saying that you can't remember going into 'User Control Panel' the day before and purposely making yourself invisible?

Do you really think that not defending yourself is better? These aren't particularly hard questions.

I really want answers from you, even if they're bad ones. Let people decide if there's any merit to your responses. Based on your history, some may give a little leeway, but the information needs to be put out there...

When did i say that i didnt remember becoming visable? I think you misunderstood me. I didnt remember WHEN i bacame visible. I knew i had, just now when.

Of course not, but when i try to defend myself from something i cant defend and dont know the answer to, it just wont work.

Ugg, i wish i had just stayed invisable. I dont even remember why i became invisible.

My style was to jump in headfirst and try not to get into pointless arguments with others. It failed. sort of.

The fact you first said you were, then it was pointed out you in fact were not, coming back and saying "I don't remember". Really is not looking good for you. "

I know i have no reason not to be truthful about it. So why do you think i would lie? I didnt remember and have confused even myself, and therefore, give up with the whole "i cant remember" thing. Why do you people even care about me being viable or not? I thought you guys said that it didnt matter, so the stupid answer shouldn't either.

I didnt mean to mislead others, it was my bad, and i fully accept resolvability for it. If you think that makes me scummy then vote for me. I will continue to aim headfirst for the person i think most likely scum.

Ogre wakes up feeling very strange. Why does my clock read 8:45 PM and my calendar say 1963, he thinks. How can I live without my internet? My car has more computing power than every functioning computer in the world... wait... car... Hmmm... maybe I can buy a couple of Mustangs and store them somewhere. Surely someone will get me back to where I belong... wherever, whenever that is.

Maybe someone in this town will help me. They look like friendly people.

Not from around here? A little early for a slip like this, if you aren't from the town maybe you are implying you are part of the group trying to take over our town?

The mafia of ACville have obtained a time machine that has recently gone out of control. The city and its residents are whisked away to different moments in time that are based on past mafia games played.

OMG. I swear the posting has gotten even worse! I'm pretty well caught up, but sheesh! Any way, here are my current thoughts after reading through. I would quote everything that I'm referring to, but I don't have that kind of free time.


Zaffy- need to see more thoughts relative to the game.
Dangerdoll- Scum until proven otherwise. Has fooled me before.
Firedancer- Scum until proven otherwise. Has fooled me before.
Noodles- Expected more posts.
Madcrawdad- Scum until proven otherwise. Has fooled me before.
Fishfriend- Self-proclaimed moron... nuff said. j/k!
Lady G- She always seems evil to me. I'm not sure that I remember her being helpful (or coherent) in the past.
Charlie_stubbs- Nothing really.
Jbradt- Seems kinda wishy washy so far. Nothing solid to me though.
Lab_rat- Seems to like most theories that have been floated. Don't care what it is unless it implicates you or your buddies?
ZSandmann- HOOT theory... I can't believe that it not only didn't get called out, but a couple seem to place enough stock into it to go with it. They look scummier than Z right now, but I have to believe that the "theory" was floated for observation. See Lab_rat.

Johnlarson- I have the eebie jeebies with him for some reason.

I don't see where you're going with this line of thought, LG. The only thing I can see to link the two games is that Pap said it was 1963. I don't think it makes enough of a difference to go back and look, but was there a game set in 1963? Besides that, despite the game the day is based on, the number of scum is set... we're still only looking for 3. Or did I miss something?

What else are you seeing that makes you think it's that game in particular? And why does it matter? It seems to me our job is to find scum, not figure out where/when we are.

I'd just go for 'peculiar' over 'fishy'.

What does this mean?

I disagree with FF and JB here. According to the rules, JPap will be assigning identities/abilities based on previous games. Therefore, it'd be nice to have even a vague idea of what's going on in terms of identities/abilities.

There's certainly no harm in addressing it, and it's probably more helpful than hurtful to the town....assuming we don't get hung up on it to the point of distraction.

Yes, I agree we shouldn't spend all our time running in circles around which format we are in right now. It is important to me however, especially since in that set up the mafia started with one and could send in a name to try to get on their team. What scares me a little about that is at this point I don't think the mafia can communicate, if they are starting with three does that mean each of them would get to send in a name, possibly getting 3 more on there team?

ok, NVM. scratch my previous comments. I can see it has been thoroughly discussed and I guess I could see the relevence as we go along....

For that matter, even if I wanted to edit something in this thread or the General Chit Chat forum........ I can't. I don't have those permissions in this section, I'm not even able to sticky mafia threads because they're in the GCC. Look at the forum listing then scroll down to the bottom and you'll see which mods are assigned to this section. I'm not one of them. My public areas as a mod are the freshwater forums, classifieds, and the chat room.

lol, HN. First, I'm flattered that you think I'm worthy of watching - it's obviously been a while since yu've played with me, my Mommy-mode doesn't leave tons of time to ponder the intricacies of the AC mafia. I do wonder who will be the first to crucify you for this? Day one lists like this make my spidey-senses tingle. They seem to put out the "I"m-trying-to-look-helpful-don't-mind-me" vibe.
