My thought was it had nothing to do with the game, but there is that thread title "RB the alien" in GCC. I was thinking the newspaper headline was a way of the journalist letting us know that RB is innocent.

You need to get out more. charlie + female = 'less than pure' comments/actions from charlie.

Now for some things I was thinking about at work today.

The whole Hooked switch thing. There are so many ways you can look at it but the thing that does stick in my head, by pulling his vote the only thing he was going to accomplish was more votes onto him. I just can't help but think Wizard and him were both mafia, Wizard the leader. By pulling his vote and attempting to cause so much at the end of the night, most likely ppl would think Wizard was innocent and he was trying to pull something over on an innocent. Not sure if my wording makes since but do you see what I mean at all?
I also think the "stab" to Mad was to get us to look at Mad more, I really think his vote on Hooked was way to early for them to be team mates.

Lab coming on late and trying to switch her vote, did look bad...but I'm not sure that makes her evil either. What does bother me though is how she tried to get Kash to look at when she came on, Mods are not allowed to use "Mod power" in the game. That does bother me.

G, there a couple of reasons that this doesn't work for me.

1) Why would HN follow me onto Wiz so quickly. That's a pretty scummy thing to do regardless.

2) This is kind of circular reasoning, but the people that I think are the most likely mafia are the ones that didn't vote for a known mafia... even after several vote changes. With all the attention on HN, only someone who knew he was a teammate wouldn't at least consider voting for him.

3) Honestly speaking, of the two (Wiz and HN), why would you save Wiz vs. HN (no offense here WIz, I don't know you well, but I do know HN and he's a very good player). All it would take is Wiz staying on RB and one other mafia to vote Wiz to guarantee a lynch... leaving HN pretty much in the clear.

Well, honestly Wizard is a very good player also. I only played one other game with him (last game) and he was an excellent player. IF Wizard was the "leader" HN would save him, IMO.

Hey, I have a question..I asked earlier but no-one answered. As far as the "code" words...didn't each word MEAN something. The word fish was suppose to mean kill (hit) right. So IF the word was being used in code wouldn't it of meant to "hit" a person?

Here's the thing though... how can anyone get an investigation on Day 1.

According to the rules, the investigation (if it occurs) happens during the night after the lynching... so how could the 'reporter' (if there is such a thing) get the results of the investigation and post a headline on day 1.

I really don't know what to make of it.

"Facts" are open for individual interpretation. Just because you see something as factual andtrue does not mean others do.

Sorry Noods, but you've got this wrong. FACTS are not open to interpretation (unless you define words differently than everyone else). However, what we're talking about are conclusions drawn from the facts that we have and some semi-deductive reasoning from things that are open to interpretation.

Hooked Newbie voting for Wiz soon after I did is a fact. That he voted to try and implicate me as mafia is an interpretation of the fact.

I still don't buy it...

Why did HN vote the Wizard so quickly after me then? That makes no sense, unless he thought that it was just a passing fancy and that something else would come up and then he could safely move off to a safer vote or stay on for no reason and look more innocent.

No, I think that TheWiz is the most likely to be innocent I've got and your role in the game will be very telling.

If either you are Zsand is mafia, then I highly suspect the other is as well.

True & thanks. In the instance that FF was using it, it was not factual but his interpretation of the events/posts.

How would the journalist have a headline if they didn't have an investigation? Maybe jpap let them send in an invest and they got the results prior to night 1 so they could get their headline in. Maybe jpap is messing with us. Either could happen...
