Mafia #70: The Time Vortex

Oh, and i forgot! I retract my vote on Zsand (for now) and vote to lynch Ogre for reasons stated b4.

Ok, I'm dead on my feet, and still have some work to do before bed (ugh!), but I wanted to check in.

I'm totally bummed that we lost LadyG. Totally sucky that they got a turn, and HI RICH!!!! Yay!!! It's been a quiet day, and I've read everything since nightfall, but can't get a good handle on it all right now. Ogre's seeming kinda off, but he was before nightfall, too. Ddoll has been posting strange things, but maybe there is an explanation? It occurred to me while reading someone's posted rule from the witch game about a "babbling" spell of some sort, which might account for Ddoll missing the hints about our new adventure and seeming soo confused. I'm not sold on Z being mafia, and don't totally put stock in the if Z is mafia, then Ogre is not, and vice versa, because they wouldn't be the first pair to throw each other under the bus, though that wouldn't be a stroke of scum-brilliance if they only have 3 players. I still think that Rb is innocent, because of the headline, and am fairly confident that Rich is (because I assume that he was raised in the same manner that he died). Not sure where a vote will fall.

My brain is fried, and I've got to work a bit more. I'll be back tomorrow afternoon.

I don't buy the "babbling potion" theory. I looked into DD's posts before it would have gone into effect and didn't care for what I saw.

I have a hectic schedule today and may not make it back before nightfall. If I do I doubt it will be early enough to get caught up and make a switch so my vote most likely will stay where it is.

Whichever way people go with their votes I do hope we don't have a landslide lynch as it is very difficult to learn anything from those.

^^remember it was a code word theory that convinced most to vote LG I would hate that another unproven theory would allow someone scummy to slide.

So here's the final vote count for last night.

I would really like to hear more from Z, Mad, Zaffy and Fire as to what their thoughts were leading up to night and why they didn't pick either LG or Z. Obviously Z wouldn't have voted for himself. No one moved from LG or Z close to nightfall. That just tells me that the mafia (and innocents) were happy with their votes.

I believe that only Mad and Zaffy responded to this so I'm putting it up here again.

True, i sort of like his Babbling Potion/vial theory. That would be to easy though, explain to much to fast.

That being said... If Zsand somehow skates again, we probably will not be able to get him lynched. And the people against me will turn it back to me, then when I'm dead will change it to someone else. And Z may be home free.

Ogre, what do you mean by the bolded portion above? Why do you feel we would not be able to get him lynched if it is not done tonight?

I really hate being indecisive, it makes me crazy!
I find it hard to believe that Ogre would come out so vehemently against anyone if he was scum. It draws too much attention.

I also know that Zsand had been out of town and this could genuinely be the reason for his absence.

:nilly: :nilly: :wall:

I know the babbling potion is unproven, but the possibility of it being true was plausible enough to make me change my vote. I know her posts prior to last nightfall weren't very pro-town, but I can't imagine why she would call Rich a liar for any other reason.

I wish I knew what to make of the Ogre/Zs thing. I can see some of what Ogre is saying, when I've played with Zs and he's been scum his posts are more joking and almost have a smug quality about them. I'm getting that feel again this game.

I am not buying into the babbling vial theory. Bala said the lab worker was no where to be seen. I think he/she forgot to send in the hit.
