Mafia 72-Vampires game thread

Tonight the crowd gathers in the square, waiting for Bala. How very rude of Bala to be late, but Bala had important matters to attend to such as margaritas, brisket, good friends, and the childishly fun jumpy jump trampoline thingy. It seems the town has come to a consensus tonight, unlike previous nights. “Stake the vampire!” the crowd chants.


Wiz seems unfazed, and calmly finishes his whisky before walking up to Bala. “Soon you will see the great mistake you’ve made,” he proclaims to the town. Bala pulls out a beautiful, handmade teak stake, specially prepared for tonight by being washed in garlic infused holy water. Wiz grins fiendishly as the stake is raised before him. In one fell swoop, the sharpened weapon slices through his heart.
 
Wiz lets out an evil laugh which abruptly ends as he explodes into a tornado of ashes. A cleansing wind carries the evilness that was Wiz out of the town of ACvania. The crowd cheers, growing ever closer to ridding the town of evil.







Wiz was Dracula.
 
The vampire slayer is quite pleased by the riddance of Dracula. They are confident they can cleanse the town of evil once and forever with a well placed stake tonight. They track the resident back to their home. This resident has been acting quite strangely all game, and the slayer wants to rid the town of this insanity. FF is muttering to himself, something about strawberries, and cake, and his fish. He has no idea he is being hunted by the slayer. He arrives home and slices a huge piece of his special cake. Right as he raises the fork to his lips, the slayer strikes. The last thought running through FF’s head is the injustice he has faced…after going on and on about his cake, he does not get to eat a single, little bite. He slumps face-first into the delicious pastry, dead as a doornail.







FF was an innocent townie.
 
Heading home, Noods decides it’s a beautiful night in ACvania for a walk. The town feels safer already, she can hear an owl hooting in the forest and the lightning bugs are putting on quite the light show. Suddenly, the night sounds of the forest cease. The hairs on the back of her neck stand on end…suddenly the night doesn’t seem so beautiful. Before she knows what is happening, a vicious pain chokes her, radiating down her neck throughout her body. There is no need for a coin flip tonight, for Noods has a pure soul and cannot be turned. The vampire spits her blood out in disgust, the taste of garlic and purity causing them to gag. Noods exsanguinates rapidly, for the vampire caused great trauma with the bite.









Noods was the slayer.

Well, we know for sure Dag was telling the truth!

WOO-WHOO, we got him!!!!

Soooooo sucks we lost Noods, and FF.


Guess waiting to use the stake, in hopes of more info first, would not of been such a bad idea huh JB? Yeah, we would of lost our last stake...but it would not of gone on an innocent either. Noods, please don't think I am blaming you in any way, I AM NOT, just saying to JB who was WAY against the idea why I it out there.

We no ONE of them has to be a vamp (duh) possibly 2, at LEAST 3 have to be innocent. I know Dag and I know I am, yes I am claiming..screaming...whatever you want to call it "innocent" so that leaves JB, Chill and 2Hob in my mind.

Now, I have a few posts to pull and a couple questions, so I will be back.

Throw stones all you want, LG. If we had saved the stake it would have been totally lost. If Noods had staked Wiz, there'd be a chance for her to still be alive and even if she didn't have any stakes left would still be in communication with Dag. I'm frustrated as hell right now, TBH. IMO, this past nightfall was mediocre at best.

I'm done with this for the night. I'll be around in the afternoon tomorrow to answer whatever questions you have since I sense they'll be directed at me.
