FF I see you voted 2H then retracted, why?

I mean I know it was to vote for me and if I remember its because of my Mod muff in 63.
What are your thoughts on 2H. I'm not asking you to save me by voting him. I'm not even going to move to Kash to save myself. I figure if an innocent has to go I will and it also prevents the other from being turned because of votes. I just want an honest answer since the 1st Day plus you had a vote on him. To be honest it almost looks like distancing to me.

Is anyone else having trouble posting? I just tried to pull 2 quotes and somehow it's not picking them up when I click the multi-quote buttons. My reply window doesn't show them when clicking the post button. Anyway... it still works to quote them one at a time, then copy/paste them in. (Weird.)

I saw one of Lady G's posts again where she comments about the phrasing I used being inaccurate. Speaking of "slip ups," Lady G... looks like someone else needs to be more careful with their wording. I wasn't as far off in my post as you were in yours.

Here's my post again from earlier. And the line Lady G makes so much of is highlighted in red, just like she colored it in her post when she quoted me.

Okay folks... it's taken me some time this morning to pull Ice's posts. I saw earlier, there was still discussion going on about the UD votes and I expect that will continue on for some time. I also saw that I'm drawing votes, along with a few others. But that's fine. Now that I've made this post, I'll go back through whatever else has posted since I started and address anything I haven't seen yet.

Before I do, let me just say this. Those of you who are voting me for whatever reasons you have... leave those votes right where they are.

At this point, I'm pretty certain that Ice and I are NOT on the same side. I truly cannot imagine any possibility that we are working to achieve the same end.

And if this day turns into a runoff vote between me and him, that would not be harmful to the town in any way. One of us, I believe, is evil and the other is innocent. Knowing my role, gives me a pretty good idea which side that puts Ice on.

That said, I realize the rest of the town has no clue which of us can be trusted. The fact is we're both quite good at fooling people whenever we're evil.... so it's a good thing for the town that you distrust us both. We will all learn more right now from killing either me or Ice tonight than we will chasing our tails the way we've done on Day 1.

What I'd like to see is a run-off at nightfall between me and Ice. The rest of you can freely vote whichever way you feel is best. This will force the vampires to either sacrifice Ice from their team (a good thing) or step out from the shadows to defend him (also a good thing).

And the fact that one of us is innocent isn't a problem, either. If I get staked and die, it accomplished 3 things which all benefit the town: (1) It gives the town a very good read on the survivor (Ice) when I flip innocent, (2) it prevents the vampires from recruiting me to their side, and (3) it allows me to join User_Name at our dead souls board where I get an opportunity to discuss the town side's kill with whoever else the vampires (or town) kills/stakes.

For those of you who consider I'm probably evil, think this through the opposite way. At worst, you get to kill me and watch me disintegrate into ashes at Bala's feet (also good for the town). And at best, all the things I just said are true about me (as innocent) are also true about Ice if he proves innocent instead of me.

Between now and nightfall, I won't oppose anyone for voting me. And I'll continue to make posts to answer and ask questions as our discussions continue.

Give this some thought, I believe it's a good way for us to proceed.

I'd looked at the thread and stated I was drawing votes. Okay, simple enough. I was vague about that when I should have been specific.

Here's where Lady G pulled my post to question me about this.

This post along with her long drawn out every post made by Ice post has made me put her above Ice for lead suspect really.

She says here that she see's she has drawn votes....has anyone actually voted her at that point? I didn't see any vote for her, so why would she say that?

couple things that have been pickin at me and I thought about quite a bit today, first the fact Pap was a turn...I will have to go back and find the post but I believe at one point Ice had mentioned if he were LV Pap is one he would choose, Paps vote was on Ice also. I just find it hard to believe Ice would turn someone who 1) he named as possible for him to turn,2) was voting him. Now I'm not saying it couldn't happen, it could but really thinking about Ice I find it hard to believe. To me it looks more like a possible "set up".
Kash was very quick to take her vote off and go with Ice's "plan".

Lady G... this was obviously a high concern for you in deciding whether I'm likely to be pro-town or one of the vampires. You choice this point as your basis for voting me when you could have cited other reasons instead.

Let me ask you why you "slipped up" as well by rephrasing my original sentence differently than I actually wrote it? Was that just being careless, vague, or inaccurate at the time? Or were you intending to slightly alter my intended meaning?

Present tense: I said I was drawing votes. And yes at the time, I thought I was.

The way I phrased that is pretty close, actually, to what I meant to say at the time... as I was, it appeared from the posts I'd just seen, in the process of drawing votes.

Past tense: For some reason Lady G was less accurate about this than I was.... saying I saw I had drawn votes.

Lady G and I both know/agree I had not drawn votes already at the time I posted that. Then Lady G decided to use this line to vote me while accusing me of "slipping up."

More to the point of the matter... I think. Is what exactly does this "slip up" reveal to the rest of you in terms of whether my role is innocent or evil? Though I always strive to be as clear and precise as I can be in my word choice, grammar, and phrasing to avoid possible misunderstandings, even I'm not going to do this flawlessly in every post I make. No one is.

But how does this on its own, indicate innocence or guilt? How would it have mislead anybody about anything for me to mistakenly claim I had votes on me when I didn't... yet? I don't see the point of the fuss Lady G made/keeps making over that one line. She already has plenty of other reasons to vote me if that's what she wants to do.

here were my reasons: A)He knows way to much about the game to be a first time player. B)The whole "RANDOM" thing. I still think he tried to defend it way to vocally. C)He hasn't been entirely truthful with us. He looks into you for voting a UD and yet he doesn't care about all the others who voted DD. D)He seems to be trying to put dought into peoples minds.

All of those reasons still stand, and they are starting to make me more and more nervous about 2H. Unless something drastic happens i think he is where my vote will go tomorrow, maybe even today if I find more reasons to consider him scummy.

Let ME start with saying that you missed a few thing. I specifically said that i was considering the town a team (Team Townie/s) And that was in response (if you follow the quotes long enuff) to post 428.

Kashta has a good chance of being evil IF Ice shows innocent. If he does, then my vote will lilky go to her.

I'm branching off to see what others have done in case the Ice/Kashta thing starts to look scummy to me.

If you place a vote you are going to catch flack for (like mine on Ice) you actually try, and you have put yourself at risk for whnt you think is right. Following someone else on someone who is already garenteed death is cowardly. Placing your vote on a random person you don't even think is scummy is as bad, if not worse.

To the first blue bit: It was the easy way because all the people on DD didn't have to worry about risking an innocent. Instead they could just wast time on someone already dead.

I thought I had stated it pretty clearly but you still missed it. FF the vote you catch flack over I was referring to was voting DD. I didn't mean you(FF)

The easy vote I referred to was the way you followed Kashta. :duh:

I was trying to give the noob the benefit of the doubt day 1 but he obviously doesn't play as a noob.
Then he decides after 4 others voted me to vote because I pushed the UD idea. I'll take credit for it even though I wasn't the 1st one on, or even the 2nd but whatever I know I was the most vocal for it. But Kash was also a UD voter and 2H has no reservations at all about her. What exactly is the difference?
Vote could go back to FF if 2H comes up with a satisfying answer but really for a player who seems to have a good grasp of the game he looks like a follower and fire stoker.

Interesting vote switch, Ice. See, I told you you're good at this. :thumbsup:

Pity you weren't able to rally the town against FF today as you managed to do previously on Day 1. Your switch now to TwoHobbies should work out much better for you.

Looking at the current vote tally, FF should be easy to convince to join your vote on TwoHobbies.... and Noods might make it back in time to switch hers too. Then there's the fact that JB hasn't voted yet.

Not a bad plan. That should be enough to put TwoHobbies in the lead tonight so he'll get killed instead of you or me.

By the way, I made it home in time for night fall but still don't see any reason to change my vote.

I do notice that 2H does seem to play quite a bit too well for a newb but I am not ready to vote there yet.

I can't think of a reason for a vamp to do it.It doesn't benefit them in anyway.They wouldn't be lessening the odds against them. You can't automatically write them off as innocent especially in a turn game. By voting the UD it puts more of a target on your back. Which is why Noods is one of my suspects, she had the chance to move there but didn't.

Which is it 2H? Was it a good idea because DD could have been scum waiting to make a last minute vote or was it a bad idea because she was innocent? What if DD had been scum, would it still have been a bad idea?


Kash, I'm trying real hard to not see you as evil but the more you posted today the more desperate you look at trying to get me lynched. You claim I haven't been digging yet you have 1 suspect, kind of kettle calling the pot black huh.
The only thing that keeps me from voting you is the thought that Noods and LG are evil as they are 2 of my suspects along with FF. You might think the vote against FF is weak but its really all that I see as vote worthy at the time I made my post before leaving for work especially after reading Wizs case which was my thoughts as well. He just had time to build it where I'm sharing a computer with a kid who is on summer vacation.

I could also see voting for Noods, for not voting the UD and instead letting User die. She didn't want to vote User but her vote did nothing to save him either.

Ice I was really hoping for a better answer. If you can't think of a hypothetical answer can you at least please explain why you used the exact same strategy of recommending a UD day 1 vote when you were evil?
