Mafia 73: Werewolf Game!

You quoted where I said he dropped on my list. Never did he drop off. You are twisting my words. Actually, JB was the first to manipulate them, the rest of you just followed him. You've also got the timing of Zaffy and jpap's posts all messed up.

So tell me, what have I not answered. Rich has hardly posted anything helpful, yet you seem to be trusting him because he answered a question? And you don't question how an experienced vet like him could so egregiously misspeak? I think he slipped.

Dude, if you knew my schedule and what my work now entails for this month, I think you'd take that back. I am getting up at 2:30 in the morning because I have to work up 18 trauma patients in the ICU before rounds, which start promptly at 6am. I wasn't done until after 3pm today, so before you accuse me of curling up and hiding take that into consideration. If I had known how crazy this rotation would be I would not have signed up for the game.

No duh I'm defensive, and please, please, show me where I don't get defensive when innocent? It's something I've tried to work on, but when being attacked I can't help it. Tis my nature. You, of all people, should know that.

OMG, someone who can finally read!!! :worthy: Now I have no idea what you mean as a tell, but I simply meant that I still think Zaffy could be evil (so I'm not clearing him), but there are others I feel are more evil. Obviously my words were twisted by others with ulterior motives.
I'll assume that by the bolded part, you mean me. I'll throw out the challenge now to you to show me where I twisted your words. I fully acknowledge that you said Zaffy was still on your list. My point is that for him to drop even one slot based on Pappy's innocence is incredibly simplistic thinking. That's not the Labby I know.

My motives at this point are two-fold. 1: lynch furry scum, now that I know you scratch your ears with your back legs, 2: get the elusive :middlefingersmiley: before you're lynched. :silly:

Your motives are bound to fail...so you admit you're intentionally trying to **** me off? Are you working in conjunction with Dag on this?

All out of love, Labby. And, no; Dag joining in was just a happy coincidence.

I'll rest my vote on rocker in case I don't get back - I do expect to get back to change it though
I vote to lynch rocker
if the runoff is Zaffy LR I would like to see it tied so if they are both innocent the wolves have to risk the hit

I still have a lot of posts pulled to address but wanted to put this out there first since Chill has asked me to reply to his question about possible mafia hit candidates... why Wizard?, and so on. So I'll post this as well and then get back to the rest.

Chill, let me begin by saying this: If you or anyone else are questioning the possibility that I must be evil because I wasn't the werewolves' first hit, then you've probably just answered your own question why they didn't kill me. Besides the facts that I'm detail-oriented, I'm real vocal, and I was already making a lot of noise in certain directions.... the odds were already quite high that the priest may believe what I was saying and decide to protect me.

That's a weighty consideration the scum are not going to overlook. To risk wasting their kill on someone who might not die would prove disasterous for the werewolves.

Beyond this... yes, who poses the biggest threat is always a good starting point. And yes, in that case, I am a very good candidate. But since the town also has a pesky habit of reviewing what the hit victim was going on about before they got killed.. votes, suspects, accusations... it's also very dangerous for them to hit someone who was already pointing suspicion their direction just before they died and were revealed innocent.

And in that case, it doesn't matter whether their intended victim was a NC townie, a communicating townie, or had one of the power roles. Their death still gives added credibility to details already present in the game thread that the scum don't want highlighted in such a dramatic way.

Now, just to prove this point.... what did you do right away after nightfall once you knew Wizard was their hit? You went back to re-read his posts looking for clues that might lead to scum. Basic strategy there, Chill... we mostly all do that. And any mafia team already knows it.

At the time nightfall came along yesterday, I'd already made a LOT of noise about Zaffy being evasive and contradictory. I had also just caught Lab Rat in lie where she had also told everyone she was afraid of me (because I've supposedly fooled her so many times when I was evil). As I pointed out as soon as I read Labby's post, the truth is that I've only been evil ONCE in any game since she started playing here. And the real reason that I scare her when she's evil is because she's very easy to read when she's scum. If you don't believe me about that, look back at what both JB and Rich have already posted about Lab Rat's behaviour when she's evil. She gets scared and she hides.

To complicate this further for Lab Rat, the other problem that gave her and her scum team was that she had already admitted that I scared her. That begs the obvious question, doesn't it, once the town finds out I was innocent..... if Lab Rat was also innocent and she's got nothing to fear, then why is she so afraid of any good player who excels at rooting out scum? Her posts in that case (Lab Rat=innocent) would be honest and sincere and there's nothing devious or manipulative for her to hide from me or from anyone else.

In Wizard's case now, I can tell you straight out that Wizard also scares the bejeesus out of Lab Rat and he's earned the respect of many other players in this game because he's an excellent player who's extremely detail-oriented. As an innocent, Wizard has the skill and ability to pull posts, find contradictions, and nail scum. Yet, as it was still only the first day and his time was limited, he really hadn't gotten all fired up about anyone....... yet. So it was also very highly probable that Wizard had not yet drawn priest protection and would be vulnerable to their hit attempt.

OK JB my choice is simple but LR is guilty of being simplistic?
I'm not worried about good looks - I hear werewolves are vain though
"and his hair was perfect"
If Kash is evil, which is still a big if, then I'd see her team as you and Rocker.
If Zaff is evil then yeah I can see a LR team there, but if they're both innocent and one gets lynched and the other hit, then the town is screwed.
So what you see as WIFOM i see as being careful.
If we go LR Zaff - i think a tie is the only way to go.
