It's much less of a stretch than your theory...I'm sure you remember well how jpap picked the roles for the Christmas game. I've got you coming in as the snitch.

How is it less of a stretch? If anything its just as equal a stupid idea.
Difference is mine wasn't a credible idea to begin with, as I said I just thought it was funny that I thought it last night and saw it this morning. You on the other hand think your idea is good enough for a vote.

Sorry NASCAR comes before mafia. It was a slow point in the race so I took a few minutes to post.

So jpap could have picked Dawg for another reason that I'm missing...if he's scum then who cares? Of course we've yet to hear from Dawg, but it's early day 1, I have no problem with my vote on him.

He could have picked any of us for any reason.

Yeah, I know it's a shot in the dark, but day 1 is usually a shot in the dark. I know from my experience that it would not be unreasonable to think Dawg was picked as Don by jpap based on his title line. I also find it interesting that Ice jumps in quickly to try and discredit that thought, then is gone when I mention that maybe he is the snitch.

My other option for the vote so far is S4S, but I'd hate to vote a noob day 1 (though what he's posted is very hard to overlook). Piranha and UN had some interesting interactions as well.

So because Day 1 is a shot in the dark you want to take out a good player because he might be scum based on an avatar? How about taking a shot in the dark on a continual low poster that won't help in the long run or someone who actually posts something scummy.

I know I'm having flashbacks to the Christmas game where afterwords jpap admitted to handpicking roles:

The Red Severum = Santa (red santa suit)
Noods = Rudolph (corgi as avatar dressed in reindeer antlers)
ZSandmann = Frosty the snowman
Ice = Grinch (because according to jpap Ice is a grinch :laugh: )

So is it now unreasonable to think the following for this game?
Dawg = Don (severum mafia don title)
Ice = snitch (avatar has "snitch" in it)

So your dog holding a gun or your SN couldn't be construed at all as mafia?

Yes, JM pointed that out, but then would I be pointing out the whole title thing?

Sure you would. State the obvious so your not looked at for it.

I think you are trying to hard to make cases versus good players so your team can take out 2 good players per day.

Sorry Ice, I have no team. I've admitted it's a weak case, and it's an early day 1 vote. I do find your reaction interesting, it's a lone vote on Dawg so far, yet you seem very concerned about it. Why is that?

I'm actually leaning it more towards you both being scum and it being a distancing vote.
But on the off case its you trying to take out a good player I'm still in a place that its a good vote.

That's fine if you truly think I'm scum for wanting to point that out. Wouldn't be very smart of me though to try and build a case on day 1 if I were on the scum team since it's so much easier to let the innocents build cases and get lynched for putting things out there. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if I'm the night 1 hit from the scum team, especially if my little theory is correct. Hopefully the doc is paying attention on day 1.

1 game me and Z were team mates and tried to get each other lynched day 1. I got him lynched and it carried me most of the way thru the game.

with this statement right here, i am getting flashbacks from the werewolf game. in that game, you tried to pick out how you acted when you were known scum in different games. right now, it looks to me like you're trying that again; 'i couldnt possibly be scum because it would be stupid of me to make a case'

its also a bit too early to try the whole 'oh i must be the hit tonight' thing as well.

I never said that it bothered me, i wanted to prove a point. Bally had accused me of playing more confident than my previously sloppy and unorganized self. So I asked her why she changed her playstyle to prove a point.

So what you call confidence, is voting to lynch someone based on the use of a smiley? I do believe in the above quoted post you said my "PREVIOUS sloppy and unorganized self. Seems to me you like to shoot without aiming. Me? I prefer to have a straight, sure, one shot kill. You all can read into this all you like. I enjoy watching the finger pointing and paranoia around here...:laugh:

But what I said this time was it's much easier to let innocents make the case on day 1, rather than sticking your neck out there and risking the noose if you're on the scum team.
