I had actually forgotten I had already suggested making a list so I thought I was posting a new idea.

The difference is FF was saying things that I thought could be indicative of whether or not he was a mafia or not and then when he was questioned about it he would say that he was just being FF. I however was saying ideas as to who I thought might be mafia and when people questioned me about it I realized I could be wrong so I said just that. The newb part of it was because I wanted to explain that I am new to this game and I don't have much experience. I realize now that the newb part was probably unnecessary.

I posted that a second time simply to keep the thread moving.

I assure you I have not been coached. I am not part of the mafia so I can't have been coached by them. Any coaching would have had to happen in the game thread for all to see.

I snipped that part from your long post, JB. Pointing that out because I disagree with you. I was also concerned about how people seemed to react to FF. Not sure yet which of those are more suspicious than others though.

The same is also true how so many seem eager to shoot Ice. If innocent, I'm sure the mafia would like to be rid of him earlier than later because he's effective at tripping up scum. He has also said "scummy" things before in other games when he was innocent. (I use the word scummy there because that was my impression at the time during those games.)

I realize we need suspects and helping Wizard find an accurate target is most beneficial. I'm just leery about us bandwagoning anyone on Day 1.

The town also has a lousy track record when it comes to voting (or shooting) by consensus, particularly the very first day.

Saying nothing in the thread while just nodding at your monitor screen still equates to hiding out.

Pir and Salt... I have to say it doesn't make me feel like trusting either of you if it takes an actual reminder from the mod to get you to start posting.

Kash, if you read the rest of the post you quoted, I believe you'll see that I said nearly the same thing about Ice. I didn't go back and look, but it was something along the lines of I want to think he's scummy, but everyone going after him at the same time makes me re-think it.

I believe I also made a post talking about the lesson I learned from the last gunslinger game that we (as a town) are better at picking out innocents than mafia.

Skimming or word twisting... taking all bets!
