I guess I should have combined this one as it's something of a followup question.
By "not genuinely distracted from the game" ... who exactly are you excluding? Chill, I suppose because of the weather where he lives since that's something we can corroborate independently through news reports.

Good questions. I will be placing my vote on someone who either is lying low and not genuinely distracted from the game because I beleive this format allows two scum to lie low and get away with it until more souls are taken. Either that or someone who makes suspicious quotes like FF has. So if you wanted names right now all I can give you is FF and rich (cause of minimal posts compared to others) but neither of these reasons is sufficient to make a vote on IMO so I'm still looking and deciding

JB, a lot of players do this actually and it's often a very incriminating scum-tell once we catch on to the fact that they do it. I just can't think of an example from past games where it's something Wizard has done when he's evil or even just trying to protect himself from someone else he thinks poses a threat.
That said, he may have done this before with you... or someone like JL, Ice, etc.. Do you have an example handy in mind that I'm just not remembering?

FF what surprised me so much about the coherent posts you made wasn't the fact that they were well written or even the specific phrasing you chose to use. I've seen you do that before and I know you're a reasonably intelligent person. I've also told you myself a few times that you have a very good basic understanding of the game, that you're often rather perceptive about reading other players. You've seen many comments like that about you from me in various communicating boards. So have other people here.
The biggest problem I have accepting the posts you made as being your own is more based on their content. That and the fact that I still feel you have a somewhat limited (noob type) grasp of the finer subtleties of mafia tactics and strategy.
If what you posted really did come from your own independent thought process, then I'm clearly wrong about that. But if someone DID help you formulate all those many strategic considerations you included as your own.... then you simply are not innocent this time.
This is something else that concerns me. You being back in school so you're back on your meds notwithstanding.... in the past, you've admitted that you can sometimes control your compulsion to post too much blabber and post too often when you have some other outlet for all the thoughts you get. At times, this has enabled you to limit your posts (somewhat) in the past... which usually meant that you used a communicating board as your outlet instead of the game thread.
If that is the case this game and you are NOT communicating elsewhere with a scum buddy... what is the outlet you are using this time?
ok, finally home and able to take a few minutes (hopefully uninterrupted) to post.
The internet at work crapped out this afternoon - everytime I got on the site I lost my connection within seconds! Hopefully they will have the problem fixed by tomorrow.
Now, I need to vote soon but still not sure where......the way Wiz was certain of FF's role and stated several times that he did not want to let it go this game, and then pulled off onto Hay just seems wierd.
I do not recall having played with Hay so I am not sure what to think of his(?) play however the comments about the low posters being the most suspect due to lack of input - but the lack of substance in his posts posts at that given time was severely lacking as well - just seems a bit too ludicrous.
FF, I agree that several of his posts have been very thought out and with very good spelling and then you have the "regular FF" posts seems too out of place. Too wierd. plus the entire question of "who would you pick if you were the murderer" just seemed like a diversion......
at this point those are the only three in the running for the lynch. Need to look back at a few others and see what sticks out so I can make my vote....

Okay, to answer everyones question. By jumping on the train this is what I ment; Ff and wiz were talking last night and I came on and started to try help the town in my eyes. Then yes I said my theory was going to be lowish posters at the point. Then wiz and FF jump on me a bit about it and before I even had the chance to answer fully, rich comes on with his first or second post about the issue or that night for that matter and places a vote. Which i thought was unusual. That is also why I voted for him. I hope that clears that up a little.
Now kash, yes maybe one of the scum is being vocal but wouldn't it be a better strategy to come on and just do a few posts then leave it to not draw attention to themselves? That is what I'm thinking. Now both rich (because of what's stated above) and FF (what others have already said) are in my books for now. Who to keep my vote on, idk.

My gut is telling me to vote for FF but it when I allow myself to get distracted by FF I miss something/someone else......*sigh*
