Why wouldn't someone be concerned about a single vote? Votes are how you can determine innocents from scum, and you can start figuring out whos what by looking at vote patterns. (and other things of course, like post abnormalities, easy to defend themself, slip ups ect.)

I'm having trouble following your logic, a single vote shows no pattern, but a voting pattern that leads to scum would be a good thing if you were actually innocent.

My point was that your reaction to my vote is the polar opposite of your reaction to my question.

I have no need to get on anyone's good side. I saw the same thing she did but i just didn't say anything. I just wanted to confirm that I agreed it was a valid point.



It was screwed up...it's supposed to read like this..."True...no one knows for sure except the scum and those who posted the screwed up numbers."

So for example...JPap...The scum know for sure if JPap is scum or innocent and JPap himself knows if he is scum or innocent. I guess my logic was a bit off since there are 2 scum teams in this format so not all the scum will know.

Since it seems to be continually brought up, I was trying to get the game rolling with asking about how many scum could be out there. I have no problem discussing football (one of my favorite topics), but since my time now limited I thought I'd throw that out there to see what people thought. Wiz then mentioned the 50/50 split from the sign-up thread. I don't tend to read the rules in a sign up thread, and that statement was lacking in the actual game thread rules (which I do read). That is why I came back after I went to check in the sign up thread and said he was correct, Ice had posted that it would be 50/50.

I actually just went back to look at the original game. In the rules for that game, it states it is a 50/50 split (lacking in the actual rules for this game), yet it seems out of 20 players that only 8 were scum (if the statement I've quoted below from Chill is correct). I did not go back through the whole thread to see each role and there was no game summary role reveal post at the end of game 9. So either Ice is really bad at math (8 scum and 12 townies is not a 50/50 split, even though the rules explicitly indicate that) OR the townie PRs are not counted into the townie ratio (12 townies-4 PR townies=8 townies [non PR] which would = the 8 scum, a 50/50 split as indicated in the rules of that game).

So which is it Ice, are you really bad at math or do the townie PRs not factor into the count for a 50/50 split?

And Wiz, this is purely a numbers speculation, not a PR speculation. :silly:

I can tell the difference between trying to see what we are up against and naming players as possible PR's (see my reaction to FF this morning).

That said, stick your tongue out at me again and you may draw my vote. I was taught that sticking your tongue out was not nice. If you aren't nice then what does that leave in a mafia game?

Don't get me wrong, bacon is delicious, but there should be a limit to one meat entity at breakfast...unless it's sausage gravy over biscuits.

With a side of bacon and a ham steak smothered in 6 over easy eggs.

Can you clarify this, what comments were made to Pap? I haven't made a comment to him yet. Who did you mean to write, and what context is there "something to it"?

I'll agree that initially you weren't going to play, but it was three, or four days ago that you decided. That's plenty of time to remember that the last time the teams were evenly split, not to mention that (as I recall) you were the last scum standing.
Yet you claim that you don't remember your team starting out with four players.
Then you say that you didn't look at the sign up rules, but you think Ice changed them.
