Why would you take into consideration anything that the mod (a theoretically neutral party) said or says in regards to someone's role? My response was about all I could have said. I didn't think it was UN's place to comment on something like that, jokingly or not, but I didn't see any reason to make a big deal about it. My original post was a joke in part because it was something a player said a long, long time ago and got in trouble for it. LG bumping the older game reminded me of it, although I guess most of the current players wouldn't have understood it anyways...

You can speculate all you want about why UN said what he said. You can also speculate as to whether UN handpicked roles. You can also speculate about who would have been chosen as the first turn. I personally see that as a really bad way to play this game out. It's just a big WIFOM situation.

2 things. I'm not really trying to get in UN's head (nobody would want to do that, it's UN), I'm just saying it would have made sense for that to happen, and as clearly stated, that post meant pretty much nothing. I was pretty much just trying to get things rolling... and it worked too well.

Just curious, Pir, as to why you would mention AA UDing last game in connection with naming him (out of the blue, I might add) as a "good choice"...are you an advocate for voting potential UDers?

There was really no one acting scummy, and I kind of figured that making a vote not really count would probably be better than a total crap shoot, at least in my opinion.

I have to agree...what the Mod said should not be taken in consideration. The Mod should never make suggestions to ones innocent/guilt in the thread. Personally, I saw it as a goof at Pap, and actually makes me lean him a little toward the "innocent" side. Simply because I would hope a mod would never put out there what someone actually is. I'm sure UN was just trying to have fun..but a bad call IMO.

Now Pir, the fact you chose to bring it up and apparently "attempt" to make a case out of it, is pretty interesting to me.

At the risk of repeating what LG just said...what could you possibly gain by voting someone who is going to UD?

This "strategy" has been mentioned several times in the past. I cannot think of any game, at least one with a similar format, where it has been deemed a good idea.

I am also missing where in the post I questioned you "clearly stated" that it "meant pretty much nothing." It certainly was something as you even went on to indicate who you thought I would pick were I scum. You named me as the person who you would vote for if you had too choose at this point. Clearly you put some thought into it (at least I hope), however misguided you were to begin with...

G is her silly self

Piranha seems to be helping the town

I have to place a vote before I go to bed invade I don't get up in time and the scummiest things I've seen so far are 2Hs mistakes and JP defending him. On a team? Maybe. Something to ponder.
