Mafia 88: Insane Asylum (Game Thread)

There will be much guessing who is who, it is human nature to try and figure such things out.

Not really much to go on, spelling wood wrong twice in a sentence is an indication to me of some one who relies on the computer to take care of such details for them. Not sure if that indicates anything or not.

The Spanish was not annoying to me except in the normal sense that I hate to not know everything that is going on.

Also it does not matter how big the bowl is, salad is still not a meal, it is rabbit fodder.

Just out of curiosity how often is a bad guy lynched on night one?

I just don't understand why you jumped to the conclusion that there was some ulterior motive behind the misspellings. Whether you're just jumpy in general or were looking for something to make out of nothing, I don't know at this point.

This is what I'm wondering to.I can't see any reason why using the wrong word spelling is intresting and why they felt compelled to bring it up.Hopefully they will explain in a way that some one dumber then a third grader can understand.

I don't see how someones spelling is a scum-tell or not. I'm sure my spelling is atrocious and you are all embarrassed to be on the same message board with me due to it.

The fact remains that this seems to have exactly nothing to do with anything.

I feel the same way about the Spanish. I would add that as this game progresses I feel that Spanish language posts should from here out be eliminated.

The only thing so far that really stands out to me is xx_nemesis_xx and his/her/its request that we stop posting. Who would gain from silence? Surely not the town. Her/His/Its recent posts appear to be genuine. Perhaps It/He/She just had a headache from the medications?

As far as guessing who's who, I agree that it could take some of the fun out of the game. For example... if I noticed that someone posted in this thread that their second language was Japanese, and if I could have sworn that, that reminded me of someone I had played with before.:lipssealedsmilie: If that were to happen, I might be able to have a better baseline by which to play this game, and have more insight into his role. :thm:

If something like that were to happen, I just don't know if I could leave it alone. :welcome:

While I agree that it shouldn't be a huge part of the game, something obvious can be kinda fun.

well, I don't really see anything that can be called truly "scummy". Some Day 1 bantering, some spanish stuff that I don't understand, and some accusations. All said and told, a normal day 1. The accusations stand out most, and thats saying they actually stand out at all.

@Narwal: I agree, saying not to post is a bad thing, but where did nemesis actually say not to post?
@Gunslinger: Why does that conversation seem like early distancing? All I see is some Day 1 banter...

Fa, la la la la, De do dum de, Ga go gre gos, I'm not a nut, no I'm a super nut :D
