Mafia 9: The Bloody Coup

my idea on the invis is; why go invisible if you have nothing to hide?

people do it, but i dont.

I think we need to be pretty careful on the lynchings guys. If I'm understanding correctly, there are 10 rebel scumbags (2 teams of 5) that the concerned citizens need to lynch in order to win...that's a lot. A couple of accidentally lynched citizens (which is typical early on) can really hurt us this time around.

It's really important this game for citizens to make alot of posts (of substance, please). Lurkers should be looked upon with EXTREME prejudice.

Curious choice of avatars there Mad... you trying to say something?

12 of 20 have posted so far. I'm home from work and ready to turn over some of Charlie's stones he is so fond of.

Ogre where were you on the Night of the 8th?

I don't remember what I had for lunch today. But a good guess would changing a big, smelly, poopy diaper. How 'bout you?

We do it because it is now recommended in the rules since the JM list. Mike and I were visible most of last game, and we were wolves. :D So I'm now watching you jo.

I totally agree with you Mad...the odds are stacked against us, 10 bad and 10 good....at least the Prez shows up as Citizen when they get investigated....and so the bad guys will never who they are hitting...
plus, I work 10 hour days Sa-W..so I try to post like crazy until I have to go to bed...
The President.... Can communicate with the Bodyguard. When/if the Detective finds the President then all 3 can communicate. Will always show as an innocent on investigations by Rebels.
and hopefully we can get the CIA/FBI before they get the Prez...

This started after game 4, when someone popped into the profiles of people and pegged the Mafia, pretty much right away......
...I thought that was the norm in these games to prevent folks from spotting what you were doing while on line...

A key here I think is that if we are "led" to lynch the President by either group, we're done. Any strong cases or early votes this soon look suspicious to me. As do the lurkers and folks who just post "Hi, this should be fun" and then lay back. Then again, I could just be overly paranoid. I'll be watching those that posted early and then take a long time to post again very closely.

Another group to look at, from my experience observing, are those that post infrequently and say little but, "I need to go back and review posts", repeatedly. Several folks in this game have gotten away, literally, with murder, by doing that. They post just enough to be exempt from a lurker classification, but not enough to draw attention, by staying non-commital until the last moment.
