Mafia 92: Night of the living Mafia... the play

...here.

Not sure I can really agree or disagree completely. Seeing as any zombie technically isn't a townie anymore and thus only wins by a different outcome it will depend on the individual as whether they want to use it or not. As Rich said, early on it probably wouldn't come down to a game deciding hit. My best guess is that at that point people will still be in the mindset of trying to kill mafia, but who knows...maybe this is the game where you can use the shot on that special person who has ticked you off in a previous game :p:

Zombies don't win outright...they win along with the winning team, if it's their kill that makes the difference. I can't see too many innocents hunting mafia for several days only to willingly try to help the mafia win after being accidentally lynched.

IMO zombies would have the town's best interest at heart.

So, Ima be tthe first to say my reasons I may not be here: i gots me a job! just gotta fugure in ma new hours with the game, but it shouldn't affect me in the game much, besides mssing nightfall from Wed on. Job starts wed, I work till 10pm at the latest, so... anyway, exuses over, lets get kraken!

So other than Wednesday, what's your work schedule?

so... who blocked me for that 2 week period? lol, I have a nice little list of people I could hit :D

4-10pm no more then 5 days in a row, 20 hours a day max. IDK anything specific, as I haven't been told the details.

Well, let us know when you do. It tends to make me concerned when someone who likes to post as frequently as you do says "Um, I may not be around," once the game starts.

Congrats on the new job, but lets not consider it an excuse to disappear.

Seems to me that once a townie dies and becomes a zombie they hold no allegiance to any team and can be opportunistic. However with the zombies not communicating they can't really coordinate their hits to control the outcome - it could very well just be willy nilly hits all over the place..........that in itself is a scary thought.

why would you carry over a grudge list from one game to the next? seems senseless and anti town.

Mafia is a game of wits. Any townie/zombie who would roll over and help the mafia win, after being lynched, can't have much faith in their own scum hunting ability... It would be a pretty hollow victory for a zombie if they helped the mafia win (willingly or accidentally). Definitely nothing to brag or high-five about.

As far as your gut feeling, as a townie I've been on the receiving end of your gut feeling more than once. Gut feelings don't usually pan out.

Obviously any zombie can take their shot, just saying that vig shots early in the game (especially gut feeling and OMGUS, which is all there will be likely to go on early) are less likely to work in the town's favor.

At any rate, as JB mentioned in the sign-up that zombie kills would take place the night after an innocent was lynched...so, any zombie wishing to take a shot should at least pay attention to the game for the following day, as opposed to calling in any kills immediately upon being lynched and then disappearing.

This I agree with. The Vig should hold their shot as long as they are in the clear.

I took it as you wanting any early lynches to not take their hit.

JB is it a 24 hour window or a night fall window for the Zombie hit.

In either case the zombies shouldn't rush their shot so that I agree with also.
