Mafia 95 - "Mayor's Mansion" (The Play)

What I know about the lynches is that both of them were innocent. One of the two being Detective. I see D3 going the same way D1 and 2 did. You don't find it disturbing that we seem to be hung up on 2 and 3 dog races?

I do, it makes a perfect spot for scum to hide and looking at vote history is useless when half the town votes the same person.

I am sorry if my epiphany as you put it from D1 bothers you. When I think I am barking up the wrong tree there is no shame in admitting it and moving on to the next tree. I think some of the players in this game should think about that. I would rather say I think I am wrong while there is still time to change the outcome than to wait and say oops I was wrong.

I have stared at these posts hours on end and as I have posted every one up for the lynch posted questionable things. But thes 2 and 3 horse races have to end. we are doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I believe that is akin to the definition of insanity.

Yes I know that every time I switch course it draws attention to me but my epiphany D1 was right. No I did not know for sure but I told Mad when I ignore my gut I often wish I didn't. If I were scum why would I have done that on D1 instead of let it run it's course? I was on FF early enough to not draw attention to myself.

@ Chill, You posting FF's posting times in other threads is what got me looking into him in the first place. Then you didn't even vote him but just flopped on to DD.
You state that you like me for scum but all you base that on is my reversal on D1. Not logical if your regard is as you posted earlier in the game I would be too smart to do that if scum. Your case is mighty weak my friend.

I have a lot to go through as I need to find where my vote should go and hopefully end up on scum. I am still here though.

Wiz, you talk about moving onto other trees, but where did you expect others to go late in the day when you were screaming "It's too quiet. FF and Spencer are innocent!"? I mean, what kind of change were you supposedly hoping for when nobody else had been talked about, and not a lot of folks were even posting. You flipped your vote onto DD claiming a "weak gut feeling"...not exactly begging to be followed by others.

You've since acknowledged that FF and Spencer had reasons for the votes that came there way, but late in the day you were looking for people to spread the vote. Where did you think that they should have gone with nothing else looking promising or even hopeful?

Also, at one point after pulling off FF, you were calling for a 2 man race between FF and Spencer. You later changed to a more spread-out race. Why did you ever think that the FF/Spence runoff was a good idea?

I said more logical than methodical. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being highest) I would say MC is:

Methodical=1
Logical=4.5

More logical than methodical. I was trying to be nice. Thanks for calling me out :silly:

No hard feelings MC :footinmouth:

That's why I'm having a hard time believing that MC's vote for DD is really bothering you that much. MC shoots from the hip quite a bit IMO.

Wiz needs to kick Kashta from her nap....think we are going to need some frequent vote updates tonight....

If he "shoots from the hip" so much so that you think the Doll vote was just because....how can you believe that the comment about Pap was "bread-crumbing" and the way a detective should play? I'm just trying to see your point Mad, you see I see MC as a excited player and would be very gun ho if he found scum, the reason he would just out of no where vote Doll like that I really do not see any other reason he would have. What would he of been "shooting from the hip" about with that vote?

Very cute, you probably saw me log in to get the post numbers for an update. Will get back when I can.

Nightfall should be on schedule. Don't start without me!!! ;)

Pap, where did I say I didn't think she was the night one invest? I did and still do. Mad said he (MC) took his vote and suspicion off her, I said I wasn't sold on the fact he did think she was innocent?

Sorry, I totally misread what you were saying. My mistake.

My "theory" is stupid. I'm not going to try and get caught up in anything based on MC's play at this point, it's too confusing for me to figure out.

I'm still fine with my vote on LG, although I am worried about people being pushed until they make mistakes and then get lynched.(See FF + MC). Well, I'm going to work on some homework and will be in and out like usual.

UN, what is with you an ignoring questions? I probably shouldn't have even asked because I'm not sure you'll even respond to it.

I find it ironic that you comment on people getting pushed into making mistakes and so far when you've been questioned you change views entirely instead of owning up and explaining your thoughts. It's hard for me to believe that you trust yourself what you are typing.

You are making it hard for me not to switch from LG to you.

Well, if that was a test you would have failed since the question clearly asked if you knew something the innocents didn't...we all know how the lynches ended up ;)

The problem with your epiphanies is that you are asking the town to try and pull something out of nothing. Especially on D1 when actual content was limited you made a big stink about it being quiet. Sure, you were right about FF and Spence being innocent but that alone proves nothing. Where was everyone else expected to vote?

Right now I am voting for my best suspect at the moment. How do you expect me to try and get my best suspect lynched if I freak out whenever other people climb on board and say they see the same things? That is the flaw in your argument. You cannot expect people to ignore what is actually in the thread and vote otherwise.

Rumor is that Wiz does...

It bothers me because I think he definitely saw something there. I still don't think MC would have voted her early like that unless he saw her as scum. Especially being the Det. I have given up though on tring to figure out who MC may have investigated. It is too muddy to see anything of value IMO.

Even if the invest really means nothing at that point, you still think the "bread-crumbing" clues would be the thing to do?
Yes. At some point the information could become useful. It probably should be done more artfully, though, than giving someone an innocent read out of the blue...

You asked me and you asked Dawg if we had played with MC before, how about you...do you think his vote on Doll was a normal move for MC, could you see him doing that as a detective had he not investigated her?
It wouldn't surprise me. I've played only a few games with MC, but I don't think that he always thinks everything through before acting. I certainly wouldn't expect him to completely remove his suspicion from DD as he did, when going down, if he had a confirmed scum read on her.

Yes, but Labby has been saying since day 1 she thought Wiz was innocent, and the post with MC's vote (and the insert of Pap) were from day 2 and she said at that time (which would of been day 2) she thought Pap was innocent...you don't think that is to early to lean anyone innocent? I agree that UN and Labby are different but you don't think day 1 or day 2 is kinda early to lean someone (especially some of our better players) innocent?

Labby's early "Wiz seems to be working for the town" bothered me a little as I just didn't see it. Her subsequent explanation makes sense, and puts me a little more at ease as to how she might feel that way...not that I agree with her.
