I went to a bbq the other day where they had elk, roast duck, and deep fried turkey.

I have only had alligator as jerky,,but that was good! Now I wanna try Moose AND ostrich!!!

I LOVE duck! Never had deep fried turkey, but hear it is really good!
 
I've never had deep fried turkey either. The first time I ate duck I tried to eat it with the skin...was a horrible experience since there is about a 5mm layer of fat under the skin. Subsequent times I've had duck it was delicious (after skin removal).
 
Chill, you didn't answer my question.....was it soup or stew?
 
Oh...Labby, I just remembered a really good veggie chili I had...wonder if you group would like that? BTW "Soup Group" is fun to say!
