we wont listen BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE to show us, how are we supposed to follow someone who posts out of the blue and wont offer up any evidence?

you dont know what cory lover is, because he and you are mafia, and you are protecting him, simple as that

hmmm, I see a hint from judge too but I don't want to say anything out loud that may disqualify me...:lipssealedsmilie:but who knows if judemax is really telling the truth. Can someone please confirm what I see?

I could see this on day five, maybe even day four - we are on day two. There is no way to know for sure that more than one person is mafia, unless one is mafia or they have played outside of the rules of this game.

At this point in the game, the Mayor has been allowed to investigate only one person.

I also find it very WEAK on the mafia's part if they are getting all worked up about lynching Cory Lover.

If Cory Lover is mafia, then many of the mafia have blown their cover.

My vote for Cory Lover remains, mostly because of the weak attempt to claim to be the mayor. If Cory Lover was just an innocent, then it might still be good for the town. The mafia will want someone like Cory Lover around. It will be bad for the mafia to lose Cory Lover. Even if innocent.

ello all!! sorry im starting soo late, crazy morning!!


anyways...what im thinking is....do you honestly think a mafia member would jump right out and point fingers right away?! that would be completely dumb. Right now the mafia members are prolly making up a strategy and like ogre said...posting meaning less stuff. just keep and eye out for the lurkers and the rarely posters...see what they hafta say.

I've read the thread and I have nothing so strong as to make it worth a lynching yet...but there's plenty of time before night. My instinct as a townie is to see where the first votes come from, or who jumps on a lynch wagon, or who posts a firm suspicion but doesn't nail themselves to a vote. And, lets be honest, the town will make mistakes on lynching early in the game. We have to process the information and track the votes back to make use of those innocent lynchings.

Hmm...fingers flying all over the place!! Im still unsure of who i want lynched quite yet. But what Ogre said, Madcrawdad is acting NOT like himself. Hes usually the one making a case against everyone. But still unsure...i will put up my vote tomorrow morning!

I agree with most of the names on the list. Madcrawdad is REALLY off this game...but its still the first day. I dont know about Nolapete. Why would a mafia throw himself into a brawl in the first day?

Ok I think I'm caught up and have a few random thoughts for the fellow townsfolk to throw around and hopefully help me with... Remember to use small words for the Newb!

Not real sure yet though and new to the game. I'd really like to see more posts before I come close to making up my mind.

i can see where someone the suspicions are coming from...but i still thinks its a bit early to be lynching people...corys post does have me thinking though..

Sorry so late in the game I am...my parents anniversary...

and i finally got through all the threads...wow alot of posting...and it is really hard to tell who is mafia and who isnt...and the thing with CL...he did the same thing in games 1-3 and everyone lynched him and it caused us to lose an Innocent...so we have to be careful on who we decide to lynch in the first 48 hours...because we could very well lose this town to the dradded Mafia....and I do have my suspicions and it seems Ice is screaming all over my radar...but too early to tell at this point...

I think that is why he decided to do it...because it is a challenge to follow all of the posting...and he is on vacation anyway...give him something to do...

My top 3 list is

Ice and Z tied for 1...because of the bantering back and forth to try and make them seem like they are pointing the finger at each other...(done in game 3 between 2 Mafia)

NolaPete for 2....having a conversation with NJ and calling her nosy...hhhmm

and GGF...acting the same way in all the other games....hhhmmm

major RED flags for all 4....but Ice and Z are on my main radar screen for sure hit Mafia....

I VOTE FOR ICE...:lipssealedsmilie: and if I am wrong and he isn't Mafia and he is lynched then I will hang my head in shame...and plant lots of flowers for him outside my Pastry Shop and name a new Pastry sandwich after him...

I tend to agree with the 'needing further watching' aspect...I would probably have a different order on them though.

Wow, NolaPete wants to end his life....and it would be sad if we did lose another Townie...as he says he is....and that would be an advantage for the Mafia...one less Townie to worry about....Nola, please don't go...we Townies need you, and maybe you are an Innocent as you claim.....the more Innocents we have the less likely chance of the Mafia winning....but, if he wants to stop playing then we can't stop him.... :lipssealedsmilie:

What time do votes have to be in?

I've finally read all the posts up to now! Quite an accomplishment for someone who can't log into the site during the workday!

Voting no one and then commiting suicide after being voted for has me REALLY confused. To me, it looks like either a frustrated innocent's move or a deperate move on the part of someone who's been caught. I'm reserving my vote for before bed, but right now if not killed in a freak Margarita accident I'm afraid that I'll have to vote for Pete. I at least want my first game vote to count and be correct. From the posts (and not the "player develpment" ones) I am very suspicious.

Other than that, my only observations are that Ogre's not seeming as "scary" as last night, but maybe not completely innocent, and FL has been very quiet (which could just be a sign of having a life).

Does this mean that you don't care who gets lynched as long as one of us goes?

CL has acted the same in all 4 games...and we all voted because of his on and off and on again posting we just might end up lynching an Innocent again...as he was in the other 3 games....so I am going to put him on the major reserve list for Mafia...for his pattern is repeating as it did in the other games...and He did turn out to be an Innocent...so we need to be careful and try to actually get the Mafia and Not the Innocents...but like Ogre said it is a 1 in 4 chance of us getting a Mafia.....and I am going to change my vote...

I vote for NolaPete and retract my vote for Ice...Ice brings up alot of good points about Nola....and for someone who don't want to play the game anymore does scream MAFIA to me....

I agree. My vote right now is leaning his way, but I don't want to waste one if we have the chance to get 2 mafia in one night.

Yeah, I agree with you HN and Ice....like JL said "GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT"....professing Innocent doesn't really prove if a player is or isn't who they say they are.....and for protecting CL, everyone in the last games jumped on the bandwagon and lynched him, and he turned out to be a Townie...but I don't know whether he is one or the other...all I know is what I am...but words don't mean much....Pappy I knew ya were kidding...I guess all we have is blinders on right now until the Detective and Mayor can point us in the right direction...and like 13 said in game 3...I am Innocent and all of you are Mafia....that is really the only way to look at things...we all know who and what we are...but we don't know who everyone else is....so I am throwing caution to the wind and keeping my vote for Nola...if he is an Innocent and he decides not to post, then he will succumb to an embarrassing disease or the Mafia just might take him out....and the Detective and Mayor and Vig. don't know any more than we do,because it is still the first night...everything gets rolling on the 3rd or 4th night...and then we will see who really is Mafia, time will tell......

But if NOLA IS Mafia and gives up by commiting suicide wouldn't my vote be wasted if I suspect someone else also? I'm getting confused...

That is why I am going to keep my vote....like you said Ogre it is a ruse...and he may want us to think that he isn't Mafia and is an Innocent...but we don't know....time will tell...

Maybe he is just doing that...like Ice said....waiting it out to see people's reactions...but that really isn't fair play...pretending not to want to play and then showing up less than 2 days later and voting to lynch someone...Now ya got my curiosity peeked Ice...so I am going to keep my vote for Nola and see what happens by tomorrow night...and if he was or is an innocent, then he was telling the truth...but we don't know what is going on...it really isn't a hard game to follow...but I guess ya had to be there in all 4 games...I was still a little confused even in game 2...but I caught on...and this game is just supposed to be fun...not mean or anything else...so I hope everyone else continues to play...and like ya said NJ...RB put alot of work into this and and we all waited patiently for the roles to be sent to us...and we joined to play a fun game, like RB said in the rules....it is meant as a fun game, nothing more nothing less...and if anything goes on other than the rules, he will ask the Mods to pull the game...(even though he is a Mod)..that would be heartbreaking)...:lipssealedsmilie:

Yeah that was either a very bad attempt at Mafia communication or a solicitation to communicate with other innocents in a way that goes outside of the rules. Very very odd. I think it is a smokescreen, but all our votes are already in place so what purpose are these distractions supposed to serve? Is judge trying to become a sacrificial lamb to save the Don?
