Mafia Game #4 The Play

That is a good point ogre. If cl IS innocent then we are in serious trouble. With basically all the votes going to cl for all we know the mafia is sitting back letting us whack ourselves without ever speaking up, and then they can claim to be gone or just throw in some bs vote. we never see them so they are under the radar. I don't know if any of this makes sense, barely makes sense to me...

and ogre, I nominate you to be the second one on the chopping block, jk!

2.) mee-mee- solely on the fact that Ice was wary of you and Cl and he is now gone. horrible reason but the best I can do on day 2

I do understand, but it doesn't change the fact that offing someone because you don't like them, whether or not they are innocent, could be construed mafiaso.

Dangerdoll is also strongly registering on my "meter." (It's not quite as sophisticated as yours though, Ogre. *lol*) A feeling I get that's overly defensive, and she uses the ploy that lynching her would be a mistake.

Cory Lover is obviously pulling strategy that's nothing but desperation at this point. I am confident that his 'look at me I'm so very innocent!' and then 'oh wait don't look at me, look at him and him and him and her!' and almost throwing his hands up in the air when he thought it was too late and it was done for... not liking it at all.

Keeping in mind that this is my list from Yesterday before I left on the trip: here is my top suspects:

bkw1982 - mainly for lurking and posting in an unusual manner
Cory Lover -again, posting in an unusual manner and the various arguments against him
DangerDoll - massive lurking and low post content
Hooked Newbie - his original top three mafia list seemed to be contrived with little or no reasoning
Madcrawdad - unusual posting... though it's getting more like the mad we known and love... I am leaning more innocent than mafia.

At this time, I'm not prepared to go any further than these statements.
 
Hmmm now that I look at Jensons posts (4 by the way, not that it matters) I am a little confused and suspicious. First she lists Nola as her top suspect, then feels sorry that Nola is quitting, and lastly she says that she doesn't want Nola in the game because of his "bad additude." Mood swings? Probably not...

ok, so here are my suspects.

CL - because of his weird postings and self implications
mee-mee - for weird postings and random out of left field lynchings
Mad - getting a weird vibe from him as opposed to the last game. Hardly any postings but seeming to try to steer people away from certain people
King - not really sure I understand his up and down postings and then implications... not sure if he is mafia but I am suspect of him

I VOTE TO LYNCH CORY LOVER,,, because for one thing I am not protecting him...if he is mafia, then we got one...and 5 more to go...I AM NOT MAFIA....and I went back through the majority of the posts and CL does post in and out....and I do have a gut instinct he is Mafia...I didnt tag team with anyone not even KOTD...the reason I voted for DD in the first night was because she voted for me first and then changed her mind...had nothing to do with me....as for me not posting all day is because I work 10 hour days...ugh....and for CL to claim I am Mafia...well we will see who is really Mafia....I am going on my own accords for this game this time...and not following anyone...just voting as my gut feelings go...:lipssealedsmilie:

I agree it had little or no reasoning... not much info to go on when I posted it, but I did post my top 3 and like the suggestion.

I do find it interesting that you're going back that far to add to your list. My current top 3 are...

1. Cory Lover- Everyone has stated the reasons. I concur.
2. Madcrawdad- Because the posts all seem to come in "bursts" and seem to be steering us in a particular direction and the directions have changed.
3. TBD

I would like to see more from the "lurkers"... SHK, bkw, Max, Coler, and Sov. I'm getting nervous that there are very few posts from y'all.

OK, I would like to posit a hypothesis, this a hypothesis only and not tested yet.

One of the mafia is a very cagey player (it doesn't have to be the don, in fact it probably isn't). This cagey player, because he has 5 other teammates, has instructed them VERY carefully.

He knows that the innocents will be reading a lot into every post and making wild (and not so wild) accusations. I suspect that each member of the mafia has been given a role based on previous posting history and style. Because of our tendancy to attack those with many posts, most of the mafia are basically sitting on their butts laughing at us right now.

About the Don, I highly suspect that this cagey player has told the Don to be almost invisible. Make a few posts, make some votes, make a case, but do NOT under any circumstances say anything without approval. They WANT the Don. Even though they have the detective, we still have the mayor and the doctor.

There may even be a player who is willing to give up to convince us that we have a mafia and those that encouraged to vote for him are innocent. Be wary of this play.

I'm going to list a few players that meet the above criteria and ask that you consider each of them very closely (especially) over the next few days. This is still a hypothesis, but I believe that it will be a more fruitful line of attack.

yes, it's quite a list... odds are there are at least two mafia in this list. Most of them will say, 'I can't do the game 24/7... blah blah blah'. I know that's not true for at least 2 of them.

I'm not saying vote to lynch them. But these are the guys that bear watching.

Mayor, I hope you investigated Madcrawdad or me last night. Tonight, check the other one.
