Mafia Game #4 The Play

Sandy is finding the sudden increase in banter interesting, but with nothing add right now he takes a walk down to the local Tobacco and Liquor Depo and rearranges the sign to read "Max's Amazingly Fine Indian Aeromatics - Half Off Liquor Everyday." Then he jumps in the bushes and waits.

Ok, I'll keep the conversation going. Whenever someone is accused of being Mafia the first response is "Prove it!" or "Show me the evidence." Well obviously in a text based game that is impossible as no one is going to type out "I am Mafia" and if they did I'm not sure I'd even believe them. Sure, with 1000+ posts a few people have slipped up, either subconsciously or by their actions. That's why CL and MM were "easy targets" but that isn't enough to pull out all the Mafia. I use my gut feelings a lot, and I mostly trust them, because maybe my subconscious has caught something my conscious self passed up. I'm reading a lot of posts, I can easily get a feeling of how a player plays without ever having a specific post to tie it to. And I imagine those feeling will be stronger next game after playing a game with you all previously. Because going in to this one, I didn't know anyone.

hey i've said that I'll be in or out, when I've been in or out.

tell ya what - if you are into checking out profiles/posting records, have a look at the General Freshwater, Freshwater Newbie, Cichlid Forums - I made a couple of posts today, possibly yesterday as well... but way way down on what I might post when I'm around to be on the forum, which is entirely consistent with when I've said I'm not going to be on much.

Now that you can check, if you're saying I'm back in because I'm being targeted.

UM..since you feel the need to be sarcastic, let me explain to you, that I choose to ignore it.

Secondly, you actually have posted more and added suspicions, Not just proclaiming your innocence...MORE LIKE THE COLER OF OLD.

There you go. Have at it.

I tend to agree with the 'needing further watching' aspect...I would probably have a different order on them though.

And then adds...

...and I would now add Neonjulie and jpappy to the list having skimmed the thread

Without any piece of information at all Coler, throws no less than 8 people under the bus of suspicion. He's casting a mafia net wide, which later included a mafia member, but also an innocent. But still, most people don't swing wide with 8 people they are suspicious of, which incidentally, is more than there are actual mafia. *lol* They often have what, 3-5? Or they browse through a list of people with comprehensive discussion, not 'oh yeah, since you named a bunch, I'll take your 6, and add my 2.' Not very informative, just what we call in the gaming biz, "splash damage." *lol*

VERY very suspicious activity early on, when you throw a crowd like that under the light bulb in a dark room - yet ask no questions...

is there a hint in there somewhere?..;)

I agree, and very interesting piece of work, NJ, I would like to add, that cory was a lost cause to them IMHO...which is why his name, is on that list....

I am ok with you voting for me, The whole reason I chose NJ, and PETE is because of the way they acted, and as soon as I called them on it, they stopped, I should also note, that petes avatar, which has since changed, used to read "how do you like those knee caps", I also would like to point out, that the whole reason I chose her first, was just to start conversation, and talking, just the same as everyone else has. I stated my reasons for them

After the above statement, you add...

Yeah, you are as confusing as EVER Judgemax. If you're going to reiterate a point in future... please... reiterate it for us... *lol*

I am desperately looking for your clues but struggling slightly here...

I was voting for julie, and I stated that It was subject to change, I still feel strongly about her ties with pete, but he was also one of my first suspicions..

IF he is innocent, I am willing to accept that, but he acted very strangely from the get go...Giving me nothing but suspicion, He has also not responded to any acusation, i have set forth, so, I must assume, that he is guilty of being mafia, I called him out in one of my first posts, and I believe I am making the right decision.

Again we know you made the wrong decision, yet everything now hangs on your decision. Never in the past 4 games has one person's predictions, having been wrong once, and right once, turned the entire game and changed almost everyone's minds. I recommend the next game's mafia claim to have a degree in law enforcement. I'm looking for clues still.

How did you misread him again? When I'm not a big anybody, I never felt mafia vibes from him, and certainly didn't vote for him.

For clarity I believe this is the current vote standings.

Votes:
ZSandmann: 2-johnlarson66, bkw1982
Bkw1982: 1-ZSandmann

This seems to show a summary of some pattern between, JohnLarson66 and Bkw1982. Almost from the get go, they have sort of seemed buddied, ('join the club', one of them even said. *lol*) Most of us don't see a reason to feel threatened that ZS (who has done a remarkable job), is mafia material, but those two have consistently ganged up on him from the beginning, of similar mindset on most of their comments.
