Get sticky traps from your local Wal-Mart or similar. Many supermarkets and hardware stores have them around here, also.

Sounds good to me. I don't like the ideas about soap or oils; You want to kill them, not deter them

Well thanks everyone.The ants are gone for now.I will update if these little buggers come back.

Yeah, i put about 5 drops of ant poison on a plastic spoon and they ate it all.They all left the terrarium and have pretty much vanished.I mean, i still see a couple here and there but nothing like i did earlier.I think after a couple more days i won't see any.

I would suggest going to a health food store and buying some fresh mint instead of the poison.

You can plant the mint around your house too. I did that with a citrus mint type plant and I never had problems again. Mint is definitly a safe way of getting rid of ants without the use of poison.

Maybe i should plant some mint in the terrarium...

Exellent Idea! ..... Be careful with that. It is a vine type plant. when I planted it at my house it covered an area 5' x 10' in 8 months. For the starter plant I didn't water it or give anything extra just let nature take its course.
