the law is the law is the law is a terrible argument made from a very low level of moral reasoning- we all know this fish isn't the problem and killing him won't fix the problem they should take all the $ and effort they put into persecuting Chris and use it to deal with the problem fish in the wild.

if it was my fish, id kill it myself and eat it like royalty. kinda like how homer ate his pet lobster in that simpson's episode a while back.
I'm surprised this is getting so much attention, yet the idiot who actually RELEASED non-native fish (pacu) recently barely made a blip in the news. Shouldn't they be hounding the people who are actually doing wrong, and not the ones who've had pets before laws went into effect and have obviously been taking care of their animals?

I don't know what I would do about this, but I do feel sorry for the guy - he looks so sad.
