Hope they do not stop making the Stealth version with no light....too many times I have had Os and Red devils attack the heater when the light when on on off...one of the reasons for its original design without the LED.
Maybe a stupid question, but do you think O's would react differently to color change than to the light actually going on and off? Mine hasn't shown interest in the heater light yet, but it's only been in the tank for just over 24 hours.
my heater seems to be working OK, is it normal to see the water at 76 in the morning, but 77-78 at night??? this seems odd to me, not sure if it is me or the heater tho.
The shape rules out me using it since I'm going to all inline heating.... Too bad I really like the stealths I had and the led on the knob would be a great feature to have in my inlines.
I bought 2 of the 250W Stealth Pros. The first continues to work well in my 75G. The second- not so good. I installed it in my new 120G, started it up, shortly after, it started smoking, and melted plastic. Ugh.
