Just remember that these things are like a negotiation.
And in negotiations you start high, the other person starts low and you meet somewhere in the middle.
So you be as forward as possible, she comes back with a slap and a no, you come back with a date and making her breakfast, she comes back with not calling the police, then you meet somewhere in the middle (if you do it right this is a "date", if you do it wrong it is a "restraining order"). Worst case scenario you look for a new store to shop at, which considering this is Petsmart we are talking about...

If you don't ask her out its an automatic No so you may as well ask and see if its a possible yes.
Unfortunately Petsmart employees are not paid commission so I don't see her having much motivation to ask him out.
