Text Version:

There should not be any bubbles if a scrubber is set up correctly with smooth flow into the water below. But if you have too many bubbles, make sure the bottom of the screen goes all the way down below the waterline, so there is no waterfall off the bottom, and design the scrubber with an "under over under" divider section like some people use in sumps.

Think we should just call you Santa!! After 3 weeks my screen is forming wine red spots, the pods are having pod parties and making babies, the seahorses are noticeably gaining weight and the water is decidedly 'sparklier'.Thanks.

Hey Santa ;) how about throwing in some starter algae when you send me the scrubber tank. :D

Gregs welcome to a seahorse, but Im not sure it would survive the trip from Italy. Btw, I GOT TURF. I know its only 3 weeks(ish) since I set up, and I did seed with real turf which was scraped off the pier supports, tho I didnt think it would work i thought it would do no harm. I kind of ground it over the surface with my hand, once i turned on the pump it just washed away to the edges where theres less flow and i left it there. didnt seem to grow but didnt die either. When i checked today right in the middle of the screen i noticed clumps of green, i swear they werent there yesterday.tried to scrape them with my fingernail but they dont shift a bit.My screen is a sight, full of holes made by the pods .must i clean it now or can i leave the pods to play a little longer?
