i had a large setup on a huge piece of plywood and two sawhorses in a spare room as a teenager. can't recall what scale it was, but i still have the box of track, trains, cars, etc at my parents place. if i had the room in my lil postage stamp size one bedroom apartment i would get it up and running again for sure!

My husband and I have his whole setup from when he was a little boy 55 years ago. We set those trains up a few years ago in our new house and it was great. Took many hours to set it up and test, found a tranformer that needed some work but had another to take it's place. We might set it up again this year for Christmas. Hopefully someday our grandchildren will be able to enjoy it.

I inherited some from my late uncle.... but then after you could not navigate my house unless you could fit in a model train I was forced to sell them : ( but that was like 7 years ago....
