Moon Lighting for aquariums

Will do Sivic.

I have the moon light string on order and I'm buying a used 48" light hood (nothing fancy, I can't afford top lighting right now...) I've figured out a way to modify the 48" hood to accomodate the moon light string such that I can install the moonlight boxes inside the hood. :dance2:

I'll post pics when I get the material in and start the mod.

For my girlfriends 20 gallon we got a light system by "sattelite" I believe it was. It has two strip bulbs that provide enough watts per gallon for a well planted tank and also comes with an LED moon-light.
The little LED is built into the hood so we just switch the main lights off, and plug in the adapter for the moonlight.
It's much handy to have both systems in one.
The bulb is not colored, so it's more natural light, and it does flicker with the water. It's cool to see the shrimp dart back and forth through the shadows when it hits "night time" in the tank, lol.
