Not sure, It doesn't seem to difficult though, I like the whole hing Idea much better than what I was going to do. The only thing I am worried about is it not having a top? do you think open water would be ok even with all the electrical work in the hood?

it would be fine with open top, only if you have water splashing or anything that could get in the lights or wiring, just attach everything really good

is this gonna be salt? cause after a while the salt creep will corrode all the wires

No it's going to be fresh water planted. Which reminds me. Does anyone have any suggestions for lighting? I want to make it high tech.

Yea, I actually finished up the wood last night. I'm going to attach the lights tonight and post some pics.

Only problem is I don't have this tank anymore. I was messing around with it about a week ago and cracked the back glass panel...

Since then I scrapped the whole thing and moved my betta to my 10gal.

I do have pics of it up and running though, on my cellphone. I'll try to get them up here asap.

Ok. So here are the pics of the tank when it was still up and running. I am not sure what I am going to be doing with them anymore since I had to get rid of my 2.5gallon.
