those red albino oscars are incredible. beautiful pics all around. i wish i was able to visit a big al's. heard nothing but good about them.

oh, and yay for turtles!

what kind of fish is that 4th fish down? he looks insane!

how much does a red oscar go for at al's?

That's Big Al's ?! I wish they have a local store here. That circular tank is jaw-dropping and the albino oscars are just ethereal. Beautiful pics !

The 4th fish down is a lookdown jack (Selene vomer).

Is this the Oakville Big Al's? That circular tank (which is MASSIVE in person) gives it away. The store also has two absolutely titanic display tanks as you enter the livestock area - one freshwater, one saltwater. I'm waiting for my tank to finish cycling but I've been to this store a few times to check out your livestock. It's a beautiful store. I plan on getting my fish there.

wow... that looks like the tank at my local shop-rite! :D
but of course, it's overcrowded there... with a MASSIVE algae bloom lol.(some puffer fish thats maybe a foot long, some shark that is 2 ft, and other fish over 1 ft (2 other fish))...

nice turtles, too lol. do you know what kind?

i belive the albino oscors are in the 11-18 dollar range. the turtles are mixed, map, cooters, and sliders. and yeah, you really do have to see tha shark tank in person, there was a seminar or something in the main halwy, so i couldnt get a photo of the other display tanks.
