Most Famous Fish

I agree though I have a quite a few people tell me they have never heard of Siamese fighting/betta.

The other day I was at a bike ride, said I wasn't able to attend a betta/fish show and they were what's a betta?...Siamese fighting fish?...What's that?.
 
I think Oscars are almost completely unknown outside the aquarium trade.

My favorite are
Betta, convicts, koi, Oscars, corry catfish, German blue rams

My fav would be the pictus cats,,,, I just wish I could have a swarm of em, but I am limited to 1 maybe 2 in my 60g. A Bishar (sp) looked very nice, but he's to agressive for my little community tank. Heck all the catfish that dont have scales are my fav... just wish I could have some.
 
I'd have to assume that sharks would be more famous than goldfish to most people.
 
Famous I would have to agree, goldfish, angels, guppies.
As for my favorites:
Cardinal tetras, the kuhli loach, cory cats

I won a goldfish at a carnival when i was 8 yrs old. The game where thers a big table with a bunch of little goldfish bowls and you have to toss ping-pong balls and if you land one in a bowl you win that bowl with a little goldfish in it.
We had i think a 10g tank at home already with a few goldfish in it. Anyway that fish lived until i was about 19 or 20! He was a big fat goldfish!
