thanx! I'm adding t-5s this weekend.216 watts plus 130 watts of pc so i'll be @ 346 total.I'll post pix of the canopy when it's finished.

I installed 216watts of t5s this weekend and finished my canopy
I added a mj900 with a gulfstream2 medium flo mod (1200gph) and have since removed every other powerhead in my tank! this thing is great!

Did you build the hood yourself or did you have the hood and just add the lights? I'm having a guy build me a stand and hood out of oak to match my furniture and just looking around at all sorts of ideas in order to give him something to work from in terms of a hood.

Thanx for the kind words Mandy. I made the hood myself from some cabinet grade ply I had from a previous home improvement.The little acrylic box is actually a surface skimmer for my proteinskimmer pump.
