what i did was try to emulate "spring"...increased food supply (not dramatic to foul water), upped the temp, dropped the water line. worked for the first clutch...but maybe done too late.

So, what causes this? Do the eggs not develop properly, and thus the snail gets blocked up while producing even more? From the phrase "egg bound," it almost sounds like a type of killer constipation.

I don't know what causes it, I am gonna do some research and if i find out anything interesting I will update the thread.

I was wanting some of her babies when she had more and you were ready to sell them. I will need some cherry shrimp, but I am waiting on a tank still. Walmart had to order e a 10 gallon tank, dumb place! So until I get the 10 gallon set up with plants and such no shrimp and snails.

Sorry to hear about your loss. If only their wasn't the need to have a permit to ship Brigs. I've got several gold & jades and would certainly give ya some. If only I could just SHIP them! :wall:
Why do ya need a permit to ship snails? Do ya need a permit to ship fish too?
