there is virtually no information out there. I find them to be extremely undemanding. protect them from your filter if you are not usign sponge filter by covering it with a prefilter. They are very light and easy feeders, basically anything in minute amounts that hits the bottom. They are completely peaceful. They don't like boisterous tankmates so other invertebrates are ideal or microfish. They tend to hang out and just chill, lol. As far as params, I have two tanks of them. One is unheated the other kept mid 70's. They both are thriving. I feed my invert tanks 2x a week with kens veggie sticks. I have not seen them actively go after food so much as pick at the substrate and plants. I am keepig them in moderately hard water (pH of 7.5 or greater). They are doing great. I have a friend who is keeping them in neutral water, they are doing great.
