Became a fish enthusiast only a couple of months ago when son's class fish (hmm, those little black fish, what are they?), given to us due to end of school year, gave birth. Previous to that, only had 1 goldfish in a 40g with a pleco. Not much, if any, fish knowledge. Husband did all the WC but only once every few months when the algae got out of control. I know, bad fishkeepers. Now I do WC once a week or more when needed. Husband very happy I took over except now I cook less. Got a few more fish. Testing water like crazy and somehow, acquired 3 more tanks in these few short months. Getting sucked into this forum. It's not a hobby, it's a disease ! Married w/ 2 kids in Cincy area.
