I currently have a fluval 405 on my 75g cichlid tank and it isn't quite enough to keep it sparkling clean.
I tried the power head with quick filter and that gets all the water movement and clears it up because of the 50 micron filter, but it clutters the tank and requires frequent cleaning of the cloth.
With the 405 I have the inlet on the bottom left about 2 inches above the substrate. The outlet is on the top right so that it causes lots of surface agitation.
I have a marineland c-360 on order and once it arrives I was wondering how people normally place the inlet/outlet hoses for multiple canister filters?
