My 10G planted tank build log

Ive been soaking the drift wood for a little over a week, replacing the water every night, and ive decided its released enough of its tannins for me to put it in the aquarium. i think it turned out awesome, couldnt be happier with the way it turned out.

Time to get some fish and start keeping an eye out for good deals on more plants!

Im happy to say, after a few days everyone is doing fine

water parameters are still perfect, plants are growing.

Most of all im happy that both dwarf gouramis are getting along, they were both picking on each other for the first day or so, which was good that they were picking on each other, one wasn't more dominant than the other, it was like blow for blow. I probably watch my tanks 30-45 minutes each a day, and its been two days since ive seen either gourami take a nip at the other, i think they are both going to live in harmony.

I gotta say, this tank has brought me more enjoyment than any other tank ive ever had. I watch for at least 45 minutes a day. The gouramis are just so beautiful, their colors are amazing, especially under the lights i have for this tank.

I am going to be getting more plants soon.

here is a shot showing where the tank is and whats around it

also off topic - are those two UP or BNSF locos on the shelf?

Back on topic - looks good, I lke the stock list and the driftwood. I know you said you were going to and I would certianly agree - add more plants!
