My 120 tall journal

I sure hope it is!

This tank is 32" tall. Can anyone suggest some good plants for a tall tank like this? I have some hygro sunset that will without a doubt grow to the top. Also some of what ever this is. I have no clue what it is, but it is living in my tank and looks cool and seems pretty delicate.

I know I want some of the bigger varieties of anubias as well. When it comes to other plants, I have a bunch.

crypts
anubias (several varieties)
java moss
java fern
wysteria
banana plant
moss ball
hygro sunset
mystery plant I don't have a name for yet
 
WOW! Epic awesome tank, I wish I could find a 120... and the room to keep it :) Good Luck with the tank. As for the mystery plant, can't help you name it, but I think I have a similar (or the same) plant in my tank, if so it grows best in good light. Does it have purple on the top-most leaves when it grows?

Can't wait to see this tank when its finished!

The only thing I can remember about the plant is that it does best in highlight, grows relatively slow, and yes the upper most leaves do tend to get a purpleish tint when they receive a lot of light. It has grown all the way to the top of my 50 gallon tank, but it has taken it several months to do so. I got it for free when I purchased a bunch of plants last year and wasn't sure if it would survive. t one point I thought it died, then I found it several months later tangled up in some hygro sunset floating at the top lol.

If anyone can ID it for me that would be great.
 
lol oh well. I wanted to see if anyone here knew what it was before starting a new thread over there. I want to say it's a type of bacopa but I'm not positive. Google isn't helping me out too much.

EDIT:

I just remembered plantgeek.net

After looking in their I'm certain it's a type of bacopa. The only image they had that looked close though was the bacopa caroliniana but I'm not positive if that is correct.

Just a suggestion, but I bought that exact same stand when I set up my 110 tall and was a little nervous about how it said not to put larger than a 90g on it. I ended up building three squares out of 2x4 that I wedged into both sided and the middle for extra support. I don't know if I really needed that, but I always feel better with an overbuilt stand.

Not the greatest picture of what I did, but you can see it on the sides, and another frame is in the center

I was planning on doing the same thing when ever it showed up. Do they fit pretty snuggly in there? If you could tell me the measurements that would be great. Maybe I can get some more stuff out of the way before it gets here.
 
I have Vallisneria gigantea in my 55 which I believe is 21 inches tall. Within a few weeks it reached the top of the tank, now about 8 inches of it just floats on the top of the water. I am sure it would reach the top of your tank.
