my 125 gallon planted tank journal

more updates. i got rid of some driftwood and replaced it with 2 rocks. i tied the java ferns onto one of the rocks. i also flipped the driftwood on the left side to be more cavernous and covered it with the moss of the removed driftwood. water was cloudy for a few hours from moving everything around but it looks worse than it was.

thanks st, wait till i show you pics from now. this is still a few weeks back.

Well? Quit stallin' already! :silly:

Seriously, it is so cool that the prochilodus doesn't bother the shrimp and everything else. They're truly awesome fish!

How big is that FF? Looks pretty happy in there :)

he is almost 12 inches. i can hand feed him so i assume he is happy. he just pecks at algae on the glass all day and follows me when i come into the room. anytime im at a corner of the tank looking for shrimp or fish fry, he is there staring into my eyes only 3 inches away. i can almost hear him thinking " feed me!". he is still skittish though when he hears sudden loud noises or the cabinet to the stand will slam shut.
