Does your large fish control population of fry?

no he doesnt eat anything live. he does sometimes mistake the cherry shrimp for a "color bit" pellet but backs away when the shrimp jumps. my fry control is due to my now very fat red eye tetras.

added new plants thanks to bk828. put up a moss wall on the left side. im going to do more rearranging but here it is for now. at first it is cloudy but it clears up after a few hours.

now a bit clearer
